Working as Security Guard and today is 13th of October and I have been called to resume a new job a a Hotel Supervisor tomorrow being 14th.

I would be forfeiting my pay at the security job for the days I have work should I leave. I need advice on how to tackle this.

It all depends on your savings. Would it last you enough till the hotel pays you? What about food? Transport?

Guess the pay is more than the security job. Else think am well.

Forfeiting half salary is the least of sacrifice you can pay for a better opportunity.

Yes, I have little that can sustain me before the hotel pay. The hotel would be giving meal when on duty and the place of work can be trekked.

The hotel job salary is more than that of the security. Though I work 2 security jobs which is almost the salary of the hotel job. So the hotel job salary is more than each of the security job unless combined.

Yes, I am looking at opportunity the hotel job offer. I have work in the hotel in the past but not in a Supervisory role. So this is a kind of progression.

I will suggest u don't go back there, since u have worked there before

If I may ask, why did they choose u?

Where u not good enough to be made a supervisor, before you left them

As a man, don't go back to your vomit, it makes you priceless and gives you value

Is because you are priceless and of value, that's why they want u back

So I believe they cannot get someone with your hotel experience, that why they want u back

What's the guarantee, if they see someone better than u in experience and qualification they won't toss u off like paper

A bird at hand (in your case two jobs), is worth millions in the bush

I will suggest u do not accept it, continue your two security work and look for job opportunities else where.

Sorry, I mean to say that I have worked in a hotel before ( hotel work experience as a Receptionist) but not in this very hotel that want to employ me now.

Bro!
You can go for the new job, reason being that:
-Security job is risky
-Most of them don't pay well except you want to rely on tips
-there is more opportunities when you're working in an hotel, coupled with
- Free food
-Walkable distance
- Let go the pay for the days you've worked

If it's a security guard company they will.... recompense you for the days worked....
I would suggest you look for the one with less stress and higher pay and the ones that don't have politics in the organization....
