How much do they pay graduate trainee at first bank? |
| Re: Between UBA And First Bank Graduate Trainee by adetayoonas(m): 5:23am On Oct 14, 2024 |
Annahh:Nice question: I resigned from first bank as an AM grade and joined Eco bank on DM grade with higher salary. First bank is a good bank and I feel it is better than UBA based on my sweet experience with first bank. If you are a diligent person, you will definitely enjoy your stay in first bank. I was there for almost 16 years. Let my comment be your decider. You will never regret it picking first bank. About 17 years ago, I had a choice to pick between first bank, access and zenith. I chose first bank, since then, I can proudly say this is one of the best decision in my life. First bank have good HR policies. Job security is okay when you compare to other banks. A diligent ET will be promoted in less than 2 years to ABO and their pay is good for that level. Although, I m talking from experiences of colleagues in other banks too, so you can make your conclusion. |

Esthered:Serious mistake! If a senior banking officer earn more than a million naira, then a deputy manager will earn about 1.5 m and a manager around 1.8m. So a senior manager will earn about 2M. What is now the salary of an AGM? Banks don't pay this way... |

ndidibabe:You have gone to calculate it into monthly payments hence the seeming impossibility. They get monthly payments and quarterly payments also. The total package will be inclusive of leave allowance and upfront so don't divide the sum into 12 and assume that's how it works. You don't have data because if you did, you wouldn't doubt me and also know I understated the fact. |
| Re: Between UBA And First Bank Graduate Trainee by wanderlust007(m): 8:55pm On Oct 14, 2024 |
ndidibabe:Then I can authoritatively tell you that you don't have current data. |

PEACE2023:As as I said, invest in knowledge. The world does not start and end in your limited knowledge of selective takes on US, UK and Canada. Every time I see Nigerians like you blabbing about "I own xyz" and I don't like going abroad, I know it's a blatant lie. Evident by the fact you all share the story of every Nigerian clean shit or wash plates like your family and friends in the UK. That's why you need orientation. You're obviously only knowledgeable by the news you hear. If you had a circle that are among the high class migrants and workers of fortune 500 companies, maybe your knowledge would have increased. But yeah, you can only think as far as what you're accessible to, in this case its obviously the UK geng lol You're either not so educated or the business you have here will not flourish overseas. Meaning you don't have transferable skills across continents. This is fine. If you have a business here, take a chill pill and stop taking people's choices as a headache lol You're just another African that blames the west for everything. They have a working system and yours does not even have a structure. Stay in your Nigeria. People aboard are not worried about your thoughts lol. Why are you disturbed about theirs? |

Hannania:You are wrong in your assertion. I import cars from the USA and Canada and sale in Nigeria. I am not a novice to all you are saying. Let me ask you, how many Americans or Europeans are trooping to your own country to get experience? The whites are not intelligent than us. I and some other person's are okay here. Wherever you are, death is for all, making impact happens everywhere you are. There is no place you stay and die and you go with your wealth. Inferiority complex and greed Force you all to America especially now. In the past, Nigerians go there to school and return to Nigeria. Majority of people going there now is to stupidly hustle. I am not against those without any options going there, my problem are Southerners working good work but are not contented with the money they are getting, they thereby abandoned the slot giving to the South and move abroad. The future implications is my concern. Come to think of it, don't you know that America and Britain love northerners more than the south despite our education? Tomorrow you will be complaining of northerners taking over Nigeria forgetting that you ran away and they stayed put. Don't they like money like the South? Are they not in the top positions in Nigeria with education? Tell me what you have that they don't have? But you have greed and they don't. They are contented to rise from the rank to Director but you are not contented and therefore abandon your job. Tomorrow you will be calling AIG, DIG, IG, CONTROLLER, DEPUTY CONTROLLER, VICE CHANCELLOR etc to assist you or your brother but those people tarried and got to that level. You must have learned with the above explanations. Thank you |

PEACE2023:Thank you for providing my point. You import cars, which shows you're very much from the east if I'm not mistaken. Your business is not one that will flourish outside Nigeria, which is why you condemn people leaving. The world is a global village. The causian Americans today are 100% Europeans who migrated years back. Same goes to Canada. It's not inferiority complex that made Indians CEOs of almost all major world tech companies. It's not also the reason the CEO of calendly is worth over $3bn even though he was born in Nigeria. That business would have been at best worth maybe $100m in Nigeria, and finally bought by a bigger company. Chinese and Indians are 3x of Nigerian migrants in every western country. Your country is shit and it's because of the citizens. There's no proper standard of living here, and all those points of building is bullshit. By the way, who told you you're more educated than the northerners? . These guys study in Malaysia, Saudi, Dubai, Qatar etc. evident by the Muslim background. But yeah, you can only speak of your limited knowledge because you only see your people in western nations. As i said earlier, stop taking people's choices as a headache. Nigeria is not worth anybody's future. When you live in a working society a bit, your perspective might change |

Hannania:You still did not learn from my earlier reply. Dangotes and innosons are based here and they are worth billions of dollars. Nigeria will work if we come together and build it. The Chinese and Indians who earlier migrated to USA, UK and Canada returned home and develop their countries ok. Recent china put a travelling embargo on their teachers. Like I said, if you don't have alternatives here and there is a way to travel out that is fine for me. But if you are already established here there is no reason traveling out especially our southern brothers in the public and civil service. It is affecting the south. Thank you |

Another person calmly & brazenly talking "factually" about something they havent a clue about. One day, I will open a whole thread about these misconceptions & misinformation. In the meantime, young & old, ladies & gentlemen, dont allow naysayers discourage you from reaching out to your dreams, travelling, broadening your horizons, reaching for the stars. Always remember: From (some) migrant's loins & genes came Rishi Sunak, Kemi Badenoch, Trump, Joe Biden, Elon Musk, Obama, Boris Johnson, etc etc. If not you maybe your child or grandchild?? Go on, carp diem PEACE2023: |

🤣🤣🤣@ "it's all suffering". You really think that so many people, including the very rich & the very poor, will continue living in diaspora for more than 20 years if they were really suffering? And it isnt about shame making people not to return home because E get some kind of suffering that removes shame. It really isn't about plenty of money neither. Living in diaspora is mostly about systems that work -the infrastructure, government, etc arent based on who you are nor on whom you know. And most importantly, it's all about peace of mind - whether you are a first class citizen or 10th class citizen, as long as you do not engage in illegalities. Peace of Mind. PEACE2023: |
