About time. I happened to just be around the other day when a cartoon was going on, only to see a scene where kids were kissing. I was stunned, I was like when cartoon start to de show kissing again? I felt betrayed because cartoons are supposed to be the safe programs you can leave the kids to watch without supervision. |

WorWorBoy:SHUT UP. See your head like “fix the economy”. How will you ever for fix the economy if your head is only on things made abroad? Do you know how many indigenous creative people and digital artists will have access to jobs and business due to this new directive? This was the same way OBJ ordered Nigerian radio stations to play 80% indigenous music around the year 2000, when all we rocked was R&B and hip hop. Many like you abused him, called him a dictator, and said it was “misplaced priorities”. Today Nigeria is a world music POWERHOUSE as a result of that OBJ order. Just like in the next few years Nigeria will become a digital creativity and cartoon POWERHOUSE following this directive. |

Ask them if their own children watch local cartoon. Their children are all abroad among the other kids from western world. Their kids can't even Speak the basics of our indigenous language. |

Usmanovic95:IRRELEVANT NONSENSE. Eventually THEIR OWN KIDS will prefer Nigerian cartoons, even there in America or wherever. Just like their kids rock Burna, Tems, Rema, and Davido today. Once NIGERIA indigenises a creative activity, be it music, films, fashion, food, it BLOWS worldwide, and everyone catches groove with it, as it becomes the in-thing. |

iampeterben:To put it in the simplest of terms, Nigeria has now decided to forget about the things that truly matter, like ensuring the quality of education, healthcare, or infrastructure. Instead, what truly threatens our nation’s future, it seems, are the cartoon characters with suspiciously rainbow-colored outfits. How thoughtful |
