Nigerian with locomotive train while president riding on new jet and lucrative personal cars without considering the masses even though they eat or not. Wicked leaders.

There’s nothing Giant about the current Nigeria

That was old glory. Nigeria has since lost that status.

I laugh when Nigerians who haven’t travelled to small African countries still call Nigeria giant of Africa and celebrate little things like flyover that smaller African countries have long advanced past.
Nigeria is way behind the North Africans (Egypt, Tunisia etc) in development and poverty reduction.
Re: Check Out Tanzanian's Electric Train, The First In East Africa, Video And Photos by pansophist(m): 1:33pm On Oct 14, 2024
Dont forget who built it guys.

Its a Turkish company, in other words, a non-western firm. They are not trying to lecture East Africans on democracy and freedom, or militarize their country with military bases (understand as colonial foothold) and weapons.

They simply engage in public infrastructure that everyone can feel, see, and enjoy. Just like the Chinese and Russians are doing.

A true friend makes your life easy, not difficult, and putting you in debt. So no matter how big of a grammar certain people speak, always look at the benefits on ground. Democracy, freedom and human rights are masks. Talk is cheap.

At the end of the day, democracy and freedom is not food. What you need is cheap groceries, not spend your whole day on traffic, good public healthcare and education, no need to go abroad, and have dignity in your culture, and hope.

With this in mind, know who is your true friend, and also know the deceivers whose virtues are only in their tongue, but their actions are nothing but evil.

Just when the world is moving towards green innovative tech and electric vehicles with zero emissions. Nigeria is just building refinery. In 15_20yrs perhaps electric cars will be far advance and improve on, gas and its related eviromental polluting cars like diesel or fuel will be obsolete.

Why always late Nigeria?
Please leave that green initiative for now, after they have developed their country with cheap energy source they are now preaching expensive energy that a developing nation can't afford. If na coal we go use develop, then we should use it.

Hmmm ... I pray and hope that one day ... in this my life time ... our leaders and planners can gather enough brain power to have such a transport system ..... on paper. I'll leave it to the grandchildren of my grandchildren to hope it becomes a reality in their lifetime. Nigeria will get there one day .....or night.

Am not shittting on my country far from it. Am saying we are mostly followers. It's not like we produce our own cars..we mostly consumers. that means when they finally stop production of fuel/ Diesel cars from lack of patronage maybe. What will you do? You will be left with obsolete cars that no one in develope country wants. Which will always put us far behind the race. This initiative should have been done decade back as a pre standard to other development. Now we are just starting it when the world is leaving it.

Don't mind these online wailing wailers. The Lagos train is much advanced. It's also running on electricity. Instead of the electricity to come from top cables they are built into the tracks.
Electricity on the tracks? 😳😳
