This story no clear... What do u mean anointed? No governor or government has the power or authority to crown any traditional ruler in Edo state as a whole. Tradition is very separate from government. Except its not Edo state [/quote

This is the position of those opposing the new clan ahead. But the Governor is really not be blamed. Against the traditional practice, the kingmakers nominated and submitted 3 names to the Governor to pick one person. This was submitted to him about 3 2 years ago, but ot took the Governor after loosing elections to pick and install PDP stalwart as the clan head.

That's a very strange and abnormal practice. Those people though, they live like people from another parts but then, I never heard of a governor installing a traditional ruler lol... it's crazy. They're probably swayed by money and political favours. You don't play such in Bini or Esan tradition. No one man wakes up one morning to change tradition that has been existing even before Nigeria

What u don't know is that the whole of Edo don't practice same culture or tradition. So don't use the words "the whole" when u haven't properly done your research

Lol I know that Thier traditional settings are not really the same bro. it's why I said they live like people from other parts of the country. Their traditional settings are somewhat different from the typical Edo (Bini / Esan). I shouldn't have used "the whole"

Even if he escaped that night his life would still be in danger in the coming ones, a cultist especially one that's just a foot soldier is always in danger. It's a dark life.
Was told he's not a foot soldier... He was amongst the top echelon of his cult in that town... Own like 2 mansions...
