The World Bank has stated that Nigeria must maintain its ongoing economic reforms for the next 10 to 15 years to establish itself as a leading economic power, not only in sub-Saharan Africa but also on the global stage.https://punchng.com/nigeria-must-sustain-15-years-of-reforms-to-ensure-impact-world-bank/

As usual oga We agree and we don’t agree at the same time We agree because we know the reforms are necessary We no agree because we no trust our government Lol For me I will still advise on diversifying and preserving method Resource are scarce but if you get one tangible one instead of spending you find ways to diversify and preserve and on the long run everybody enjoys Good luck to everybody that is trying to make Nigeria work God bless the federal republic of Nigeria |

So we are going to suffer for 15more years? Before then, like 30% of Nigerians would have died of hunger, that's really a small price to pay. ![]()

NwaNimo1:What reforms though? We generally have no information regarding the particular details of the reforms the world bank and IMF keep referring to. ![]() |

Ironfaceman:Some of the reforms suggested are in fact commonsense reforms, but as you said, when you have rogues in office and you have Nigerian people not involved in the process — the system is not transparent, the actual implementation of said reforms to the benefit of Nigerians will likely not happen. That's why when Nigerians call for reformation in sectors such as INEC, I am like so long as you have corruption eating through the system, whatever reforms put in place will not go beyond the paper they are written on. ![]() |

The guy is from indian there's a possibility that the federal government is bankroll him so there won't be much excuse in 2027 the fraudulent organization called World bank has started campaign for Tinubu in disguise. |

That’s what they said about SAP about privatization and I believe it , look at the results today , in the next fifteen years it will most likely be worse |

Simply put it. IT WILL TAKE US 15 YEARS TO RECOVER FROM TINUBU'S DESTRUCTION OF NIGERIA WITH HIS APC CRONIES |

Hmm... I was thinking 5 - 7 years. The critical thing is going to be the President that succeeds Mr Tinubu. If that President doesn't keep up with these reforms or reverses them, then all the benefits of the reforms we lost and the consequences could be worse than we are seeing now. |

Winks2:... richmond500:... rexlims:... Forkthiefnubu:The reforms suggested by the World Bank are not the source of your sufferings as you can see in the image below. Your suffering in Nigeria comes from the fact that you instead have rogues in office attempting to put these necessary reforms in place at the same time ensuring they loot as much as they can from it. 🤔 Many of these policies already exist on paper but they cannot be implemented because the criminals you have as elected leaders will not see that happen while they are still in power. 🤔

| Re: Nigeria Must Sustain 15 Years Of Reforms To Ensure Impact — World Bank by Kobojunkie: 7:56pm On Oct 14, 2024 |
richmond500:Without directly tackling corruption from the bottom up and the top down, these reforms will still yield no fruit 20 or even 30 years from now. We saw the same happen during SAP and so many other eras in Nigeria. ![]() Nigeria's major problem has almost always been Corruption which we have seen impedes the implementation of reforms at all levels of society. And that happens to be one of the major issues this current administration refuses to tackle. ![]() |
