Exactly. Including the stupid supporters of s particular political party who refuse to use their common sense when their party leaders pump bullshit into their empty skulls

The PMS from Dangote Refinery is only expensive because we have a useless govt and a ciorrupt NNPC that manipulated things so much so that Dangote fuel has to be as expensive as the imported fuel because the NNPC thieves wanted to find a way to justify the continued importation of fuel.

Otherwise, what the govt should do is to sell the crude oil to Dangote at an agreed price in naira and demand that Dangote sell the refined product at an agreed price to the public. Even if there is a shortfall, the FGN could se part of the Excess Crude account to cushion the shortfall so that NNPC does not incur losses. In that way, fuel would be cheaper and there would be no payment of subsidies to private hands, but only to NNPC official/statutory accounts.
My point is that when you know the penchant of a people (in this case, APC and our leaders) to tell lies, you're supposed to apply critical reasoning into anything they say.

Some people chose to swallow everything hook, line and sinker and now look where we are.

Has Dangote been responsible for the reduction of prices in any areas where he dominates? One single example will do.. Just one. Sometimes he eagerly comes in as a blessing, but will quickly settle in as a the real curse.

Is it in Cement? Sugar? Floor? Now oil. Stop running from pillar to post trying to fabricate excuses for a generational shylock determined to milk the last drop of blood from his dying people.

Dangote is built like that. His idea of generating wealth is to corner a section of the national economy, become a monopoly, and raise prices to the high heavens. Dude is ruthlessly merciless
The price of PMS will drop with time when the refinery gets enough supply of crude oil locally & when more larger refineries come on board.

Tinubu and his APC crooks told them that it would be very cheap. Even when Dangote has to buy crude oil at international price rates.

Yinmu!
When and at what time will that be- remember the Time Value of Money?
This Una Consolation Words is just abnormal e.g.'when Refineries are many or larger 'or is it not the First thing Tinubu said he will do-making the Refineries works but we never knew there is a Malta Oil Arrangement! Just imagine a Malta Country is less than 600 People, yet supplying our Lazy Leaders!
Why are we like this,in Nigeria?
A govt that cannot be trusted with anything!

you just said trash by end of the day.

Dangote did nothing wrong but a business man. Even if he takes advantage of your foolish government.

Is the government that suppose to revamp atleast 2 refineries. And reduce the price of fuel of the 2refineries, thos making a competitive environment against Dangote refinery. Dangote wouldn't have a choice then to reduce his fuel price.
If you think that a govt owned refinery can be revamped to work in Nigeria, then you are on a long thing. Even those facilities are already obsolete.

The best viable that can happen is for new refineries to be built (by private set-ups) and compete with Dangote.

Have you been to any govt owned establishment, and see how effective it works? What a comic.

Tell us when d fuel will come back to where u met it 😡
..it's the high dollar exchange rate...1700 naira to a dollar that also caused the high costs of fuel ..if the dollars crash like from 1000 naira gradually down to 400 naira to a dollar the price of fuel will go down

Lets calculate, dangote produces better quality petrol than d ones being blended n shipped to Nigeria. Also,he buys crude frm fg at prevailing international price not less......he also sell lesser than the one being shipped into Nigeria of lower quality due to cost of shipping eliminated.if u want cheaper fuel frm dangote then tell ur govt to giv him cheaper crude to convert to products for naija use only.....thats d only logical way to get cheaper fuel.
Remember dangote is answerable to his share holders ...its a business

We are the ones devoid of understanding; Dangote's product - Sugar, Cement, Spaghetti etc weren't cheaper than their competitive products, why assume petrol will be cheaper?
Don't forget; in the beginning there was first, a ban on importation of household commodities hereby giving the same Dangote a leverage. . . . .
This is just a repeat of history
grin grin grin grin
Believe me no matter how wise he can be if the government is serious to bend him and make him dance to there tunes he will do that …If he buys crude oil from Nigeria then let NNPCL make contract with him whatever Dey will be buying from him e.g if he sells for 1000 per liter for NNPCL they should use the money they use to lift abroad and pay dues abroad to subsidize for us here in the country and if he refused to buy crude from us in other not to sell to us in Nigeria they should make sure the tax he pays is enough to subsidize for us and make it go back to the same thing ….with laws binding the contract if any alteration is to occur atleast 3 months or as deem fit notice

You right but I believe if he gets crude at the int rate he can sell for us at the rate he wants and NNPCL can subsidize it with the money they pay to lift and Import it back all the dues and he can also sell parts of the product abroad to make gains and he will pay taxes for that also the government will see money back to subsidize for us again make it scratch my back I scratch urs ,do me locally I do you on taxes local and international simple

These evil vampires have come again.
Always defending the next available wickedness against the Nigerian people.

Same praise singers, Dangoté and Buhari govt told us to support and wait for Dangoté refinery that they were investing our collective wealth on and giving numerous incentives to even to the detriment of our own national government owned refineries.
Some of us raised the alarm to inform Nigerians never to fall for their schemes but they called us name, now see the result.

That once it is completed would solve our fuel energy needs and reduce the price of deregulated pms...now they turn around to change their mouths and tell us that this same refinery we have all supported and been waiting for won't help the Nigerian peiple.
And this is crude oil we have naturally in abundance in the country and are top producer of which should be cheaper as benefits to the people.

Alot of Nigerians are truly wicked and selfish.....never answerable to anything except only money.
Yet you will see some delusional people come here to support these organized crimes against the people because of party(APC), tribal and regions or individual interest.
The too much love and ungodly desire to get it all at the detriment of others while these same oppressed people applaud their oppressors because of little crumbs has destroyed things in Nigeria.
These evil idiots and there supporters keeps asking for more time, understanding, sacrifices and our all only to disappoint the people at every turn like they are doing at the moment.

One thing is a must, surely as the sun rises, every one of them involved in these evils will utterly reap these wickedness in dimensions never seen before and they will violently lose every empire of crime they built with the sufferings of the Nigerian people.

At last Dangoté and NNPC are very dangerous organizations against Nigerian's sovreignity that must be dismantled.
The government are wicked, the private sector are wicked and even the people are wicked to themselves.

Na wa o Nigeria.

Only Fools believe that having 100 oil refineries in Nigeria would crash petrol prices,As if they would refine water.

That method would not work, it would be filled with corruption and nepotism.

The best thing this useless government would have done is to peg the naria against the dollar, let say 1dollar to 500 to 700naria, while reforming the bank and foreign exchange market.
Secondly encourage and support manufacturing
and export of goods, while also seeking FDI.

This measures would have, helped the naria to remain stable or appreciate against the dollar.

If pms in world market is $1 than an average Nigerian would spend only 500 or 700 per litre.
