People have always been traveling. It's just that between 2020 to 2023 Gen Z did not let us hear word about japa. I first left Nigeria in 2014, you need to the the thousands of people leaving the country then. Even when I visited the UAE embassy then with a friend the crowd was massive. But the sad irony today is that it's far far more difficult for the young people today to leave Nigeria because of the high cost and visa refusals 3 Likes |
