M346 is not a 1st or 2nd gen bonber or fighter jet. Sometimes you people should try to do a little research on things before opening your mouths to talk complete Rubbish!! This jet is still in use in Isreal, Poland, Italy and Portugal. It's a good fighter jet that is equipped with trainer mode that is capable of training any student pilot to be able to fly any advanced aircraft.

I'm a huge critic of this government but I have to acknowledge that this is a much better jet that the nonsense they currently have in their base.

With respect, you sound very uninformed. Do not conflate Nigeria inefficiencies with its army in a conventional war. Very few countries have their over the horizon capabilities. You need to educate yourself on the Nigerian armed forces than judging them by soldiers at bus stops and checkpoints.

Open conventional warfare, nobody wants it with Nigeria. But as I side Nigerias war doctrine is based on West Africa and the Gulf of Guinea. Sweden doctrine is based on a Russian invasion not war with China. You don't make up risks, you address reality.

Doctrine determines armaments.

More so, F 35 is only available to countries that have strong military ties with the US. It can't be sold to Nigeria

Egypts sphere of influence is north Africa not even ME. South African army has never ventured beyond the SADC region. It is Nigeria that must fight everyone? Which of these armies has fought a conventional war in the last 20 years. Has SA ever fought even an uprising?

Let me help you. Go to Jane's fighting ships, it also has an edition for the global airforce. Then check how many African countries can extend force beyond their territory. Check airlift capacity, check Naval landing ship capacity and you will find your answers.

For your information, Israel uses f16, f15 and f35, it uses this rubbish only for training or for insignificant tasks.

This is just a big load of rubbish, America and it's allies are unwilling to help upgrade the Nigerian military which they wish to remain weak enough for the west to easily defeat Nigeria in a war if it ever comes to that.

We have seen Russia's jets in combat in Ukraine and how up they have struggled to gain aerial superiority in the war and now Ukraine have started getting the f-16s.

Man Ukraine had one of the best defended airspaces in the world before the war started, and that is because of how the soviet union saturated Ukraine with s300, Russia had to blast all that air defense before it would be possible to send bombers into the battlefield.

Those f16 you are talking about have not proven efficient at all and keep being blasted out of the sky by Russia , also the us military said it itself that the f16 will make no difference in the war, they are merely there to replace the Ukrainian original soviet aircrafts which Russia has destroyed.
