It is not enough for the government to give an order, who will protect the people when unknown gunmen strike? The security agencies cannot be everywhere everytime, people are defenceless |

A lot of traders in Anambra State are not willing participants in the sit-at-home. They are just being cautious to avoid harassment. They have been bullied to conform or risk having their businesses destroyed. |

You can’t do this in Hausa land That’s why even if you break Nigeria up some regions will suffer Imagine if there’s no central revenue from other states and every region must eat what they generate. What becomes of Igbo land when someone threatens the population and force them to sit at home? In the north, not even Biko haram or bandits can cause a continuous and compelete shut down like this. People will go out |

This soludo is fighting a lost cause. If he knows what is good for him he should just ignore these guys like Obiano did and ruled peacefully till he left. He is asking people to come out will he provide adequate security for them? The late Ifeanyi Ubah tried it and failed. Nobody wants to die an untimely death. Oya let him go and seal all the markets in anambra state now. |

Wrong narrative. They are not sitting at home bcus of MNK. They are rather sitting at home bcus the Governor and the Nigerian security system can’t defend themselves talk more of defending anyone else. What is the sense in opening your business and getting caught up in between bullets from the UGm and security for just one day business rest ![]() We dey talk of people wey bullets dey hardly penetrate their body oo ![]() |

There are some directives that make no sense! Soludo knows that he is not in charge of security in the state and he also knows he cannot secure citizens in that state if they choose to abide by Soludo directive! |

Nwaokunkpara:Soludo is the chief security officer of his state. Why should he focus on the FG? No doubt , the FG has failed . But most of these governors are totally clueless. What are they doing in their various states? They just sit back and pass the blame to the FG. |

helinues:You typify how DISUNITY between the Yoruba and rest of the southern regions enable Arewa to control the crude oil and gas deposits in the south through their tight grips on Nigeria's false democratic process. As the disunity is deepened by the Nurudeens of Yoruba today, the sympathizers for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal justice system use government institutions and instruments to pave the way for armed Fulani herdsmen with ISIS and Boko haram to penetrate all over Nigeria. |

discusant:What are you talking about? We from the South West defended our region in several occasions, things that could have escalated more than Ipob which we are proud of Was it not because of former president Buhari all this sit at home started? Can Buhari still remember anything Ipob or Kanu in Daura? End SARS was before UGM, others moved on far from it but you people just couldn't Make una stop shifting blames, take responsibility once and for all |

Sleekfingers:That’s in the rural areas where there’s no structure or law basically No city in northern nigeria has been shut down like in anambra or Enugu or Abia consistently like they’ve been doing And even in this villages they’ve risen up again and again with their one local militia like they did in Borno and Zamfara to protect themselves and actively fight the detractors and oppressors. The north is unlike any other region |
