So what stops her from applying for TRV inside Canada?

The main thing is she will have the permit to study for the length of time she needs. She can however apply for TRV separately when she needs it

I think the aim of this is not to give visitor permit privileges to study permit holders. When her visitor permits expires she can always apply for visitor and get as much as her passport can accommodate. They don't want to give you double for one as they also have revenue targets for visa issuance. Canada don dey stingy with visa approvals.

Finally, maybe they don't want to give her opportunity to delay her entering Canada to start the program. We ve seen many people abuse their 2 yrs Travel Visa (attached to 2 years study permit) by trying to defer an admission and enter Canada in a later date without informing IRCC just because the TRV period accommodates the program deferment. We caused all this harshness to ourselves by abuse of priviledges and IRCC seems to be closing loopholes that breeds abuse.

I know this. Problem is when her visa expires in five months, she cannot travel outside Canada(minus the US) without a valid visa. Regardless of how long her study permit is. Thanks though.

Your passport is with the agent because it impossible you did biometric 9th of May and submitted passport to Canada visa centre on the 14th of May via your agent as you stated earlier .

Ask your agent for your passport it 1000% with the agent!!

That how the agent do! The last time I visited one in his office, there was a heap of passport on his table.
I don't know why they collect clients passport to keep as if clients can keep themselves till there is need for it!

Ii did my biometrics In 2019 and I was denied then,I reapplied April this year and I got a ppr ..now vfs is requesting I pay another transmission fee not minding that it was at the same Lagos office I completed my 2019 biometrics..so has anyone else experienced this kinda thing before abi vfs dey try reap me 🤔🤔I wan know make I carry broken bottle go request for my money back 🧐

Yes you will. Your visa is in the passport already. I entered the U.S. in a passport with one month expiry.

You will definitely pay the transmission fee, that one of 2019 don pass.

Hello, it’s better to check with the airline because some airlines have strict rules regarding six-month passport validity. Traveling abroad in 2024 is different, and many things that were ignored in the past are now a big deal because flying from Nigeria involves facing another hurdle at transit since there are no direct flights to Canada!

And since she'll have to create a new account with ircc as she can't log into the one the agent used even though she has asked for details regarding the ircc account the agent used but he refused to give her. So now Where or how will she link the previous application to the new one she's about to start. So that they can see she's addressing all what is in the gcms note. Thanks in advance.

Even with the new account IRCC will be able to link the new and old application owith the UCI number. Your friend should go ahead and create a new account if the agent refuses to provide login details .

Please I'm yet to get full answer to the this remaining questions for someone. "Is it a must to submit previous passport as I can't find my old passport but my present passport has stamps of countries I've been to n out of. Also, is it necessary to attach wedding pictures even if not asked for. The person also said that he doesn't have any landed property to use as home ties but he has rent agreement, does he stand a chance without landed property. Thanks in advance
