Nollywood actress, Juliet Njemanze has narrated how she and the rest of the crew on set got robbed and harassed by men of the underworld while filming a new movie at an undisclosed location.

My hands are shaking as I type. I am a survivor. We are survivors!
It was few minutes after 3am, we were shooting in the living room, having a good time with loads of laughter and chitchats because we needed to keep our energy up as we still had more scenes to shoot… Amidst the laughter we heard a loud bang on the door, followed by a loud silence, everyone went mute, then the banging resumed, this time louder, our Director yelled “Who is that?” The banging became frequent like someone was trying to gain access into the house, it was at that moment we realized what was happening. We were being robbed! Everyone scurried into different rooms, Some of the guys onset quickly pushed a couch to wage the door and ran into one of the rooms as well, one of the robbers broke the window’s burglar proof and made his way inside to open the door for the others, I was in one room with Mama @francesnsonwu07 other colleagues, we were all quietly praying and asking God for his intervention when we heard them come in and started banging on the door to the room opposite, after several attempts, they broke the door down and started harassing the people there. I Started shaking and praying, amidst all the chaos that was happening, there was a small peace in my mind even though I was scared to tits, I had a feeling that it was gonna be alright. They won’t hurt any of us, they can only take devices and money.

I heard someone scream in pain and my entire body was filled with goosebumps. They kept asking “Where is the money?” “ Who get this phone?” “Who get this i?” “Put the password”. One of them drew a gun to fire shots and another one yelled “ No, we no come here to kee” They finished with the two rooms before proceeding to break down our room door, I and two other girls tried to use our weight against the door but they still gained access into the room, we then hide behind Mama @francesnsonwu07 she stood in front of us, fearless like a guardian angel, when the saw it was all women and Mama was facing them calmly, the leader was a bit calm and then he said to Mama “Mama abeg calm down, sit down, I no wan touch you, she gently moved and they asked us to sit on the bed while they searched, the took gadgets, and then started asking for password of phone we had no idea whose they were, in that moment @ogechukwujacinta was coming out from the already robbed rooms and the landed her a hot slap because she refused to cooperate, with my arms over my face and my head down, I heard “Bring this one and this one” I prayed “Most high God we need you, don’t let them hurt us” then I felt a hard slap on my back, “Oya Stand up’ as you no wan tell us who get phone, you go pay” They led us downstairs and towards the gate, when we got there, they asked us to lie down and identify the owners of the phone that had, we maintained “ I don’t know” then one said “ No wahala, we go use una, una go pay” in that moment, my mind became clouded with negative thoughts, “will they R**e us? Will they kee us? Is this a k!d#ap? I counter those thoughts immediately and started asking God to show his face.
