That's 2.2m people, and if you factor in the number of dependants each could have, then you're talking about 11m people. They'd spend this salary to buy stuff from people who sell, mechanic, school fees, etc...these ones have their own dependants too. You're talking of upward of 30m people being touched directly and indirectly. It has a huge impact on the economy.
