If they were maltreated in Nigeria, the right thing to do was file complaint to CAF, besides Nigeria doesn't have the history of maltreating any opponent but that same Libya does.

If caf don’t talk then every country is free to mete the Libyan treatment to their opponents

One thing is certain: if Libya is not sanctioned with a heavy fine and a ban for a couple of games, CAF will endorse this issue, and African tactics will prevail. It will come to the point where African games will be ridiculed. Certainly, Libyans must pay dearly.

The other issue is whether Nigeria is found guilty of the Libyan complaint. If that is the case, Nigeria will have to face the consequences. My opinion is that if both are guilty, the depth of wickedness of the two parties should be used to punish them. So Libya should be aware that they are in for it. And Nigeria should be prepared to defend itself in order to avoid a severe or no penalty, as Libya would have. That's it.

Libya, in my opinion, should be kicked out of the qualification process completely. I would not even ask for Nigeria to be awarded three points, but rather to be kicked out and possibly banned for up to five years from participating in the tournament. Then, I would look into Nigeria too. If this is not done, African football will die.

We didn't treat them well when they came to Nigeria. Kept them on a bus trip that was harassed regularly by touts and police.

Rwanda also had a very bitter and painful experience when their National team went to Libya.

nobody maltreated them in Nigeria, do your research. They diverted their own flight from uyo to Ph without informing the NFF. Nigeria then looked for every possible means to get Uyo to to resume operations that night just so the Libyans can land their chartered flight there but they refused, choosing instead to go by road. They refused every help Nigeria offered even bus so what else did you expect Nigeria to do ? They're obviously afraid of the Eagles and that's why they did what they did, expecting Nigeria to forfeit while they get three points and three goals but it seems to have backfired hence their threat of a court case. I dare them to head to the Court of Arbitration for sports, let's see how many years ban they'll chop especially with obvious government interference as evidenced by the high level authority needed to divert a flight to another airport. This is a serious diplomatic breach yet we keep using our local tit for that mentality to look at the case. Let them go to court first

In summary they held our national team and officials against their will,denying them access to basic necessities they would require before their match.

That sounds like outright kidnap of Nigerias National team.. they (libya) should go to court,they are learners,Nigeria will floor them well
