The Libyans have behaved like true bandit. They are psychologically recuperating from the endless wars and banditry they have been subjected to by the Americans. Banditry is still in their blood. |

lacasera14:Exactly!! They keep making reference to their experience in Nigeria rather than give verifiable reasons why the flight was diverted and the team locked up. If they were maltreated in Nigeria, the right thing to do was file complaint to CAF, besides Nigeria doesn't have the history of maltreating any opponent but that same Libya does. |

Kingluqman:Pls always try to read. “The Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) has been in contact with the Libyan and Nigerian authorities after it had been informed that the Nigerian National Football Team (‘’Super Eagles’’) and their technical team were stranded in disturbing conditions for several hours at an airport that they were allegedly instructed to land by the Libyan authorities. |

The föolish Libyan FA seems to have learned extreme stupîdity from Nigerian APC politicians because what they hell is this one again ? If CAF is a serious entity, they'll award three points and three goals to the Eagles fast rather than postpone the match |

Moors. Tuaregs. Racist. With the stories i've heard about these people, Libya ranks among the top two countries I never want to set foot on in my life. Animals as far as am concerned. Their most enlightened citizen - Gaddafi, they butchered him. |

I still insist that I blame CAF. CAF is like house boy's to some of the Rice Arab countries in North Africa. This is not the first time Libya is giving I'll treatment to their host football team, both at National team level and club level. Rwanda also had a very bitter and painful experience when their National team went to Libya. Libya is not a football nation, they are just spoilers. They know that they have nothing to lose. |

1x2x3:nobody maltreated them in Nigeria, do your research. They diverted their own flight from uyo to Ph without informing the NFF. Nigeria then looked for every possible means to get Uyo to to resume operations that night just so the Libyans can land their chartered flight there but they refused, choosing instead to go by road. They refused every help Nigeria offered even bus so what else did you expect Nigeria to do ? They're obviously afraid of the Eagles and that's why they did what they did, expecting Nigeria to forfeit while they get three points and three goals but it seems to have backfired hence their threat of a court case. I dare them to head to the Court of Arbitration for sports, let's see how many years ban they'll chop especially with obvious government interference as evidenced by the high level authority needed to divert a flight to another airport. This is a serious diplomatic breach yet we keep using our local tit for that mentality to look at the case. Let them go to court first |

In summary they held our national team and officials against their will, denying them access to basic necessities they would require before their match. That sounds like outright kidnap of Nigerias National team.. they (libya) should go to court, they are learners,Nigeria will floor them well Nigeria should please not send civil servant lawyers but a competent legal team, this should be interesting, |

LFF threatens legal action against Nigeria inspite of the ill treatment meted out to the Super Eagles? Adding insult to injury? Ok, let's see Libya in court! After all, "go to court!" is a familiar phrase in Nigeria. Anuofia! @hotseat |
