The first day I met Peter Obi at an event and had the opportunity of having a conversation with him. my instinct told me that this is the kind of man that Nigeria needs to get it right. This was shortly after he completed his term as governor of Anambra State years ago.
Being a president that will meet the expectations of the poor masses in Nigeria is beyond having good intentions the problem I have with Obi is not lack of intention but lack of will power, look at what Dangote is facing because his refinery is threatening the pocket of some corrupt individuals, Obi cannot sustain the pressure that comes with being a president in Nigeria, Obi doesn't have trusted allies that will stand by his policies regardless the effect on their selfish interest

The fact remains that many sincere Nigerians knew that Peter Obi, though not a saint by virtue of being part of Nigeria's politics, still remained the best person in terms of mindset to at least if not reverse PMB mess, then reduce it.

I told people then that "the Nigeria PMB was leaving behind would be worsened by BAT or AA..." I believe OBI is prudent & diligent as a person, and even as a governor.

The Nigeria PMB was leaving behind needed a prudent & diligent helmsman not a spendthrift and business as usual politician - EVEN the NIGERIAN Political class knew OBI was a risk to their business as usual, so they didn't support him.

No one needs a degree in political science, theology, business management, to know this, so far you live in the country.

MAY IT BE WELL WITH NIGERIA.

How will he win? If there is no United opposition and we have 4 horse race again the incumbent will find it easy to do another abracadabra.
You have a point, but the reality is that every Nigerian has seen sege in the hands of tinubu and desperately wants a change of government.
Without inec magic APC can never win the presidential election in Nigeria

yes I agree with u and I'm also sure they didn't win the 2023 elections but reality is they have inec in the pocket and that mean u have to make it very difficult for them to rigg or else they will create confusion manipulate results again.

The Opposition has to be united to win a corrupt incumbent.

What kind of confusing statements is these.

They did not win but the opposition have to be united.

If Apc did not win, then no need for the opposition to be united since they believe they won the election.

Wailer. grin

Tinubu won the election.

Obi rigged in the S.E.

The kind of rigging that took place in S.E 2023 will not be allowed to repeat itself again in 2027.

U can lose and be declared winner in a corrupt system. Or are u a baby in Nigerian politics?

Even buhari claims he won elections against obasanjo and Yaradua but was rigged out.

Rigged election is a loser language that is perculiar in Nigeria politics.

He should have prove his argument in court how he won, sokoto, Kano, Bauchi, adamawa, borno, Kaduna, yobe, and other core north states

His submission at the tribunal was for the judge to disqualify tinubu not about the election results.

Obi knew he lost the election.

Buhari APC had 15m votes in 2019

Atiku PDP had 12m.

Compare that to what happened in 2023

PDP has a united force PDP, LP, Nnpp had 14m votes

APC had 8.9m.

Meaning Nigerians rejected APC at the polls.

But PDP division contributed to their loss.

His submission were also valid concerns for our electoral process and laws.

Proving the rigging is a different rigorous case which the evidence are there even tho inec refused to give access the electoral materials and BVAS.

That's does not mean he didn't think the election results were false and rigged.

No lone ranger have succeeded in winning presidential election in Nigeria since independence.

Buhari as popular as he was in the north tried it, but failed multiple times.

Repeating the 2019 formular (Atiku vs Obi) would have been their best bet.

I believe peter obi worked for Tinubu to be president knowingly or unknowingly.

Like I said to someone else fuel to the immaturity of of electoral process and the incompetence of inec a 3/4 horse race contest can easily be manipulated and that's simply whst happened. We saw everything in real time so I don't kmow why we are trying to paint other narratives out of assumptions and conjectures.

We saw the manipulations the falsified figures and yet we act like we are confused? This was 2023 not 1998.

We are not confused about events we know 90% of what happened.
