Kobojunkie:That being said corruption can't be defeated because corrupt parents breed corrupt children which go ahead to form corrupt society which produce the corrupt leaders. Who then will give you corrupt formal education. Am not talking of informal education from the street, am talking of learning trades, we have too many graduates pursuing too few white collar employment. What we need are more certified technical inclined people that can manoeuvre things , this can only be learnt in workshops . That is informal education |
| Re: Food Insecurity Remains The Greatest Challenge To Nigeria's Development – Obi by Kobojunkie: 7:09pm On Oct 16, 2024 |
Proudlyngwa:1. Learning what trades? Vulcanizing? Mechanic? Tailoring? What do you mean by trade in this case? ![]() 2. No be engineers you dey mean? Aren't those trades that are typically learned in formal educational settings where students conquer booty the theory and technical aspects of the technical program? ![]() |

You can’t be creative or think critically when you are hungry... all your focus would be how to eat now to stay alive. We all know that Food is very important in brain development and when your brain is fully developed, then can you be able to think critically and solve problems. God bless you Peter Obi. Hunger is very bad I know rich kids won’t understand this. Let’s conquer hunger first if we are to move forward. |

okpukpu:Before all of this APC scourge befell Nigerians, were the people thinking right to have elected APC into office and even allowed a sick man remain in office even after the lesson that was Yar adua? ![]() Abegi! |
| Re: Food Insecurity Remains The Greatest Challenge To Nigeria's Development – Obi by Proudlyngwa(m): 8:16pm On Oct 16, 2024 |
Kobojunkie:Yes Vulcanising, tailoring and mechanic, we need more people doing that , then improvising new ideas, new tools, new materials. That is how a country grows Improvise, evolve or go extinct. It has nothing to do with corruption. Nigerians are too docile |

Proudlyngwa:You are not being serious, are you? 🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐 2. A country grows by having its people trained as most of its youths trained as vulcanizers, tailors, and mechanics, and traders? Are you serious? ![]() 3. The word improvise pretends that you have something-- resources , skills, tools, etc., ---to aide the improvisation. Most Nigerians are dirty poor, lack the knowledge and necessary skills to do what you demand. ![]() A farmer with only a hoe and his seeds cannot be used expected to improvise beyond the limits of his tools and resources. So how can you suggest improvisation as a way forward? ![]() |
| Re: Food Insecurity Remains The Greatest Challenge To Nigeria's Development – Obi by Proudlyngwa(m): 8:51pm On Oct 16, 2024 |
Kobojunkie:The industrialisation of most western countries did not happen in the universities, it happened with artisans. What we are seeing today is a finished product of a raw process. Nigerians need to improvise and evolve and formal education will never let us do that . |

Proudlyngwa:You think industrialization can take place in Nigeria by farmers using nothing but hoes and cutlasses? ![]() 2. Improvise and evolve using hoes and cultasses? No formal education in need and use of better machinery and technology necessary? Wow!... ![]() Have you at least been able to accomplish this right in your own village so we can see and learn from the example... industrialization accomplished by way of hoes and cutlasses. ![]() |
