Valeur:this is a lie, i am not yoruba, but even the yorubas born and bred in London speaks the language fluently, the likes of tiwa savage, naira Marley and a host of them grew up in London but they still communicate fluently in yoruba. An average south southerner mostly that travels out for average ten years don forget him mother tongue, give it to the yorubas for been able to preserve their culture, language and identity over the time. They are very meticulous in keeping records, pictures of their daily life from ages past, events dating ages past in time, kings and monuments still floods the internet till today. Their genzs are still following up, honestly, compared to other regions, Check their traditional festivals....... |

Thank you lagos state government, at least other tribes will stop saying that Lagos is no man's land and accept that yoruba is the sole owner of Lagos. |

Shadomaan7:LOOK, THIS IS WHAT WE CALL DEVELOPMENT. DEVELOPMENT IS NOT JUST ABOUT BUILDING ROADS, INFRASTRUCTURE ETC. THERE IS WHAT WE CALL DEVELOPMENT OF THE MIND. IT IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT. KUDOS TO THE LAGOS STATE GOVT FOR LEADING THE WAY IN THIS. I’M SO PROUD OF THEM. |

mozona:IS ENGLISH YOUR MOTHER’S LANGUAGE OR YOUR FATHER’S LANGUAGE? USE YOUR DAMN BRAIN. IT’S NOT THERE FOR DECORATION. IN FACT A TIME WILL COME WHEN OUR PEOPLE WILL NO LONGER SPEAK ENGLISH AS THE LINGUA FRANCA. WE WILL SPEAK AN AFRICAN LANGUAGE AS THE LINGUA FRANCA. WE WILL RETURN TO BEING AFRICANS AGAIN. THE COLONIAL INVADERS WILL NOT SUCCEED IN TRANSFORMING US INTO COCONUTS (BLACK OUTSIDE WHITE INSIDE). IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME. |

Don't let anyone deceive you, there are Igbos who understand Yoruba language better than Yorubas born and bred in Nigeria. I was laughing when you mentioned the likes of tiwa savage speaking Yoruba whilst Igbos that are away from home not understanding their language. You can believe anything you want to believe but translating the laws to Yoruba language can't hide anything from an Igbo man interested in the language. Language is about Interest and how far you want to know. It's also the delusion of some Igbos that Yorubas don't understand Igbo language. People dey learn English language well without stepping outside the shores of Nigeria, na Yoruba language wey you fit pick up easily from the street naim Igbo chap wey Dem born for Lagos and went to public schools for Lagos, did the language from pry 1 to SS3, studied in universities in the SW no go understand? Do you know someone Igbos even studied Yoruba language in the university? ShescreamEWOOO: |

Waytolife:Let me ask, he's defaulting in loan payments abi? Don't you guys have other loan recovery measures other than this show of shame? If I was the guy, I would never pay back your loan again since there's nothing you can do to repair the personality you've destroyed. If not that the country is a mess, the loan officer or whoever authorized that publication should be arrested because no one other than the police or government agencies can declare anyone wanted. |
