I remember the silence. The stillness. The feeling of weightlessness. I was trapped under the water , my lungs burning, my heart racing. The world above was distant, muffled. I saw my life flash before me – memories of laughter, tears, and loved ones.

Suddenly, the struggle ceased. My body relaxed, and I felt...free. The pain dissipated, replaced by an eerie calm. I watched as the air bubbles escaped my lips, rising to the surface.

In that moment, I thought, 'This is it. This is the end.' But instead of fear, I felt curiosity. What lies beyond? Is this the transition to whatever comes next?

As my vision faded, I heard whispers – soft, gentle voices calling my name. I tried to respond, but my voice was gone. The darkness enveloped me, and I slipped away.

Then, nothing.

Until...

A hand grasped mine, pulling me back. A voice shouted, 'Breathe!' And I did. The rush of air was agonizing, but I was alive. The world roared back into focus, and I knew I'd been given a second chance

Best Title shoulda been... "Snatched from the Jaw of Death!"

I have been there. 'As the vision faded...' the eyeballs roll back, leading to flashing fog-white; then comes the suffocating blank-blackness - loss of consciousness. And finally, a cascading serenity: Death!
