Sew previous thread https://www.nairaland.com/8241384/just-severe-scald-boiling-water So I went to a hospital this morning for proper treatment. The burns were cleaned thoroughly, dead skins removed, dermazin cream applied, and then gauze used to cover the burns. I also received tetanus injection and two other vaccines. Just like some people said, the application of GV was totally condemned by the doctor. It was cleaned off before treatment commenced. I'm to be going daily for 2-3 weeks for cleaning and dressing. koldrun:You made the best decision, the wound will heal nicely within a few weeks. If you had gone ahead to treat it on your own, the wound would have taken long to heal, it may get infected along the way and by the time it eventually heals, it would scar terribly. Better..like i said before be eating plenty of protein and dont play with your antibiotics.. By God's grace the pains of the dressing changes will be greatly reduced for you.. I mean if you were eating one meat per meal change it to 3 or 4. Don't forget to be declaring with faith: it is well with you leg..i am healed by his stripes .etc It was a bad one ..i was scared when i saw it..but its looking better already. Our prayers for speedy healing are being answered. May it miraculously heal in record time with zero scarring in Jesus name. 4 Likes |

I wonder why Nigerians apply GV on burns injury. Some even apply toothpaste,raw eggs,leaves.. All those are contaminants First aid at the spot is to pour cold water in the area. Then,go to hospital Wish you quick recovery 3 Likes |
