World bank! The same people that introduced COVID-19 to depopulate Africa? Same as IMF that gives satanic loans? The earlier we distance ourselves from them, the better for us |

With the way the Nigerian economy is behaving, many of us have gotten into the habit of starting the day by focusing on the negatives and the struggles. We wake up and our minds immediately jump to different problems, our high bills, the fuel and transport wahala, the stress at work, and everything that could possibly go wrong. |

Oh stfu WB. Just name one African country that heed the advice of these selfish clowns that's prosperous today These guys are only looking out for themselves and what they stand to benefit from Africa. |

The day Nigeria start doing the opposite of what they are told by word bank and IMF the day they will start being progressive. Look at the military Era and civilian Era and you see that the military was better. The only thing military didn't give was free speech |

adenigga:Them and IMF I no sabi who evil pass. They advised the nitwits to float the naira. The same bodies keeping asking every government to devalue their currency. And our leaders will always accept to have access to loans at the detriment of common man. |

ewedunamala:The more we continue like this, the more the FG will borrow, the more World bank will have upper hands to make decisions if the government can't pay= a Borrower is always a slave to the lender according to the Holy Bible. That's what World Bank want |
| Re: Don’t Reverse Current Reforms, World Bank Tells FG by bentenny(m): 7:36am On Oct 18, 2024 |
A world institution notorious for not offering sound economic advise to it's borrower but only interested in consistently lending monies! Just the same way a bank will advise u to collect a loan but will never tell u how to properly utilize the loan for your own financial benefit because that means you may never come back....so they keep leading u down a dangerous path that will require u to borrow more monies until u become bankrupt! What is shocking is an accountant, now president, who claims to be endowed with superb economic prowess has to rely on the support of this lending institution to validate their draconian policies! This just shows how financially inept the current president is but we all knew this from the beginning except for zombies who believed the propaganda that this same man that finished secondary school at a centre that was established 3 years later was the same man that developed Lagos state from the scratch! Interestingly, one chief balablu supporter is now protesting on this thread!😆😆 Indeed, hunger and hardship does not know tribe or religion! Everybody go collect! |

IamtheTruth1:People that have sense in the government are few. Na only me and you deh see this one bro, those at the top do not. A preacher once said "you'll be one of the worst sinners if you say God has not bless this country enough." |

World Bank is not interested in Nigeria well being. It's only eyeing how Loans collected by Nigeria be paid back early . Mtcheeeww |

Let's be honest we needed this. Subsidy is like paying for most things for your children they will think they are doing ok. Until you take the lid off completely they will never figure things out . I like now how that they are few cars on the road. Now we know who really deserves to own a car. Not the prestige acquisitive meaning. Now also people rank things strictly in order of preference. The discipline is gradually returning by fiat. People don't just go anywhere, they go only where is important. People don't just eat, they eat when they are hungry, people dont just buy stuff, they buy only what is of value. Everything will circle back to how it should be. It was really too all over the place. Am not tinubu biggest fan. But I respect him more and more so by the day. It was a hard reset..but by God we needed it. |

Let t speak on issue and leave institution alone. Subsidy was removed for two reasons being rumoured 1. Corruption as people who are not supposed to get money got it 2. The country does not have enough financial power to continue paying subsidy My advice on one, since dangote an indigenous refinery is up why not convert the subsidy to aid for one man (dangote) let him produce as much as he can and you have an agreement to be a sole lifter of the products at reduced price thanks to your investment in the refinery For point two, Tinubu was starved of funds by obj and learnt what it means for a state to leave on IGR. I felt his experiences will teach him to push state to work because for now governors only collect money and do nothing to get better igr. Do you know how much can be gotten from land tenements rates alone can feed a state development drive. In all I just dry pity Nigerians |
