It is barely 3weeks we finished marking NECO 2024/2025 SSCE, results had been released and Examiners yet to get their pay.

Peanut for long markings

I was also an examiner in this year's marking. I just remembered today that I haven't been paid, and I had to search online for this. What is going on?

It is so disheartening, a month now after coordination and no payment on sight...

NECO: A BODY WITHOUT HUMAN FEELINGS

It is a shame that the National Examinations Council (NECO) has once again displayed a complete lack of regard for the hardworking examiners who dedicate countless hours to grading examination papers. Over a month has passed since the marking exercise was completed, and yet NECO has failed to pay the examiners who played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the examinations.

This callous disregard for the welfare of examiners is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the examining body. The examiners, many of whom are teachers and education professionals, have families to support and bills to pay. It is only fair and just that they receive their due compensation in a timely manner.

What makes this situation even more egregious is the fact that the candidates' results have already been released, meaning that NECO has had more than enough time to process the payments owed to the examiners. It is simply unconscionable that the examining body would prioritize the release of results over the timely payment of examiners.

We call on NECO and all relevant stakeholders to urgently address this issue and ensure that the examiners are promptly paid for their hard work. The examiners are essential to the successful conduct of examinations, and their contributions should not be undervalued or ignored.

It is time for NECO to show some compassion and responsibility towards its examiners. Failure to do so only serves to undermine the credibility and integrity of the examining body. We urge NECO to do the right thing and pay the examiners without further delay.

Neco has yet to pay me, it has been over a month now

I received my NECO payment on the 8th of October at exactly 5:00PM...

NECO payment is always in batches. I am sure you will get yours before end of month.

same here, I haven't seen mine as well.

Today is Nov 2, 2024. Still, nothing from them.

This is my LAST year of marking NECO scripts by God's grace.

Same thing with me; l have not been paid as well..l will try and collect another set of papers from them next year but will not return the paper until my money is paid. Useless examination body

same here...., Neco na trash. I marked WAEC and I was paid a week before results was released.

Dem go use Police come arrest you if you no quickly return their parcels oooo.
