He said: “It’s crucial to note that over 70% of Lagos State’s operating revenue comes from taxes, with PAYE (Pay As You Earn) contributing 45%.

“This means the state’s wealth, which the governor seems to take all the credit for, is primarily generated by citizens’ hard work.

“What tangible benefits do Lagosians receive in return for this significant contribution? Do their children have access to quality public education?

“Is there an efficient and affordable public transportation system? Are the roads well-maintained? Is social housing readily available? Can residents easily access capital for entrepreneurship?”

For all state governors in the country

GRV should rest on this one.I know he wants to play opposition but he should do it with sense. Its not every thing the ruling party does that he will comment about.85k is fine.If he wins the next elections , he can then increase it to 100k.Im an Labour Party chieftain from Edo State btw.
Rightly said. Opposition should learn that opposing everything for the sake of opposing the government hurts them in the long run. What’s the difference between 85k and 100k and how much additional burden does that extra 15k put in the state treasury.

How does GRV know that 100k is the correct min wage? The LASG could as well be paying 100k and then opposition parties raise it to 150k for the sake of having talking points.

They should learn to either keep quiet or congratulate and offer meaningful suggestions.

Being a member of the opposition shouldn't blind one from seeing clearly.

Don't criticize just for the sake of criticism!

His criticism of the Sanwo Olu administration is nothing but sheer "bad belle" because of the defeat he suffered in the last gubernatorial election in the State.

If half of the States in Nigeria could copy the Lagos example, Nigeria would have been far and above other countries in the same developmental bracket.

Loser, abeg, go look bush!

Lagos State Government and Gov. Babajide Sanwo Olu should be appreciated by Labour Party, Peter Obi and Obidients for going over and beyond the Federal minimum wage of 70,000. No be everything people go dey complain about.
complain is part of democracy that is how lai Mohammad, Adams oshomole, tinubu complained before they get to power

Someone said, lets pay Nigerians a living wage

Then see Agbado Nigerians on this thread, abusing the man that wants to pay them more to live a better life.

Agabdo guys want everyone to suffer sha, that's why they always use phrases like "You will cry for 8 years", "wailing wailer".

See the whole thread full of Nigerians fighting against the betterment of their own future. You can't make this shhh up men.
