Macphenson:What did he write that isn't the truth Your useless governors are by far the most corrupt and inept fools since 1999 to occupy government house. Only your useless region and cannibal Abia state has produced 4 crooks back to back since 1999. The only one to have performed was Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state so far while all the rest have been disgrace including your Pandora fraud and thief. |

I remember telling Agbado guys that it isn't easy to get into the NUMBER 1 ranked school in the whole world; MIT, which GRV did. Agbado guys abused me that day ehn, chai According to Agbado guys, M.I.T is useless, they prefer NEPA bill guys and guys that graduate earlier than their schools founding date. That's the way dem Legendhero and the rest of the Agbado crew roll. So of course when GRV comes out to suggest better living standards like the gentleman that he is, Agbado guys get irritated, since they want wages low, and utilities high. They want Nigerians to wail. By the grace of God, Nigerians will overcome this economy and begin to put the right leaders in the right places. |

Same tried and failed Obi political tactics. Criticizing everything whether good or bad for criticizing sake. FG is paying 70k and without any pressure from nowhere Sanwo-Olu proposed 85k, shouldn't any serious minded person appreciate that first? Did workers said they didn't get consequential adjustment? |

Pauldollars:read again! He applauded the increment from the official amount but also admitted that it's not enough considering the cost of living on Lagos state! House rent is very expensive Transport cost is one of the highest! With the hyperinflation that has brought untold hardship on Nigerians, even the 100k proposed by GRV is not even enough to address the challenges of workers as the basic necessities have quadrupled within a month! U guys should appreciate opposition for once as they are currently making sanwola work harder which is a good thing! |

This Daddy and Mummy male adult just found his voice. What do you know! Next thing his mother with her harassed look will tell us in a video how much ugwu should be sold in Lekki markets. When a child speaks against and shows animosity towards the family and people of his father his paternity becomes doubtful! |

lagostrendboy:The eloquent Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of Lagos said in the 1 hour interview (that I watched via online live stream two days ago which he had with Seun Okinbaloye of Channel Television to celebrate the commencement of the new Red Line rail route and other Lagos State milestones) that Lagos State workers will be paid N85,000 minumum wage to start with and that he wishes to increase it to N100,000 from the start of 2025 because Lagos residents pay a premium to live in the state. Lagos State goverment workers also work remotely now and only go to work 3 times a week. He was very CLEAR on that and I was impressed that as a senior Banker who rose to the prestigious rank of a bank Treasurer, he reeled off some useful economics statistics and other developmental data offhand. There wasn't enough time to finish that interview with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu because he was about to talk about agricultural development in Lagos State but Okinbaloye had to round off the program. I look forward to watching the second part of the interview if it's going to come up anytime soon. It was nice seeing Sanwo-Olu display robust positivity and he emphasized on the importance of being able to "see and conceive things" when Okinbaloye asked him about the Red Line rail route and how Lagos State was able to finished the project in two years and in record time. Sanwo-Olu said if the Red Line project financing and construction hadn't kicked off two years ago, it would have cost more to begin the construction. There's more to be done in Lagos State and Nigeria in terms of bringing down hyperinflation and the high cost of food, drugs and other essentials, but it was refreshing seeing in a democratic dispensation the completion of major rail projects such as the Red Line in addition to the Blue Line that had earlier been completed in addition to plans to start the Purple Line route, the Lekki-Epe International Airport, and the Fourth Mainland Bridge based on the availability of long-term finance. |

Pauldollars:The questions asked are germane and in need of answers. The PAYE tax deducted from Lagos govt workers' is painfully high. This is in addition to the exorbitant cost of transportation. The governor's programs aren't alleviating any pain. How has Ounje Eko reduced hunger? What is the essence of Imota Rice Mill that is unable to push down the cost of rice in Lagos? If the cost of brt fares is permanently cut down to half of what it is now will Lagos go bankrupt? I'd rather he focuses on the above and leave the wage at 70k. He's just being sensational. |
