Lebanese MP Nadim Gemayel: Hizbullah Is Reaping What It Sowed; We Will Not Solve This Crisis For Hizbullah; It Must First Surrender Its Weapons

In an interview with LBC TV (Lebanon), Lebanese MP Nadim Gemayel of the Kataeb Party stated that Hizbullah is reaping what it has sown. He emphasized that the conflict is not between Lebanon and Israel, but rather between Hizbullah and Israel. Gemayel declared that there would be no ceasefire until Hizbullah surrenders its weapons, arguing that those weapons have failed to protect any Lebanese, Shiites, or even Hassan Nasrallah. He pointed out that no one forced Hizbullah to join the war in Syria, train the Houthis in Yemen, or initiate the war with Israel on October 8. Gemayel concluded, "We will not solve the crisis for Hizbullah, in order to solve its crisis today, Hizbullah needs to hand over its weapons."

Nadim Gemayel: "Unfortunately, Hizbullah is reaping today what it has been sowing for the past 20 years. Hizbullah has threatened us, killed us, and has tried all the time to push Lebanese society as a whole. Hizbullah would not let anyone speak freely, and would not let the state get back on its feet.

"Where is the balance of terror? Did it allow them to defend Lebanon? Did they prevent Lebanon from being destroyed like we are seeing today? Did the balance of terror protect even the Shiites themselves? Their weapons have not defended any Lebanese, any Shiite, and not even Hassan Nasrallah himself. Where is Hassan Nasrallah today? Did these weapons, this balance of terror, manage to protect him? Where is he today?

"There will be no ceasefire before Hizbullah hands over its weapons. It is very clear from all the analyses and from what we saw in Gaza, that these people [Israel] are not kidding. We have seen what they are doing. Did anyone imagine, before September 26, that they were ready to kill Hassan Nasrallah? Surely not. These people are not playing games. It is clear from the destruction that they are sowing. They did not play games in Gaza. . .

"It is not between Lebanon and Israel. It is between Hizbullah and Israel. Lebanon had nothing to do with that operation, but the Lebanese people are paying the price.

"I am drawing a distinction between Lebanon and Hizbullah, because it was Hizbullah that decided... Nobody forced Hizbullah to fight in Syria, nobody forced it to go and train [the Houthis] in Yemen, and nobody forced it to start a war [with Israel] on October 8. Who forced them? They got themselves into this crisis, and they need to bear the responsibility. They should not think, not even for a second, to come to us and ask us to bear the responsibility. We will not solve the crisis for Hizbullah. In order to solve its crisis today, Hizbullah needs to hand over its weapons."

Palestinians are NEVER Arabs. U cannot bury the evidences of genetic investigations into the matter. It is the Jews that are never originally from Levant. As for Lebanon at inception, Christians in the country was just 51%. The Muslims were LEBANESE equally. Lebanon is not about religion but a people, some Muslims and some Christians.
Today, Christians have reduced to 32% due to conversions to Islam and not just migrations solely.
Lebanon never belonged to Christians and it has never been a Christian state.
