Abeg getat. Was Kperogi criticizing with logic?

Do not let your hatred for Tinubu blind you from logic. You people allowed your hatred for Buhari to blind you and you started hating Nigeria and formed all sorts of attack groups against the country. Now Buhari has gone but those hate groups are still functioning. Same way Tinubu will leave but your hatred will remain.

Stop giving us a stupid, irrelevant essay.

The Nigerian reforms are similar to the Chinese reforms in the way they are designed to foster SELF-SUFFICIENCY.

First start: STOP BORROWING 10 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR TO PAY FUEL SUBSIDIES.

INDIGENISATION POLICIES WHICH PROMOTE LESS DEPENDENCE ON THE DOLLAR, TO SHORE UP YOUR LOCAL CURRENCY, WHILE CURBING IMPORTS BY CREATING BUSINESS-FRIENDLY POLICIES AND AN ENABLING ENVIRONMENT FOR INVESTORS.

THIS IS WHAT NIGERIA IS DOING.

CHINA WENT MUCH FURTHER BY outright BANNING of many imports, including vehicles etc, and imposing high tariffs on imported goods.

This made life VERY HARD for the average Chinese.

But today they are very prosperous because of those policies, which lasted decades.
You are a BIG IGNORANT FOOL!

Didn't I tell you not to compare yourself with China? What kind of reforms are you doing that you cannot get your 4 refineries to refine fuel for local consumption and you keep importing fuel while mouthing subsidy. Is fuel refining a rocket science? After sinking billions of dollars to maintain refineries and they fail to work, is that not willful sabotage? Meanwhile local boys can easily 'cook' out diesel from crude oil in the bush but the government commits billions and cannot do it.

In the case of Dangote refinery, you claim there's no crude oil to supply it but many of the oil wells in Nigeria today are capped and designated as reserve. I can tell you many locations of dormant oil wells in Nigeria today and nobody is doing anything with the crude oil there.

While I support Tinubu and think that the World Bank is more interested in Europe than Africa in terms of development. Your generalization and simplification is not a credible argument. Tell us why Kperogis statements are wrong. Don’t just say because he supported Atiku. Otherwise, it means you are assuming we are all stupid and anything you say must be accepted whether it provides sufficient defense of Tinubu or not.
I take God beg you. Go back and read the post by Kperogi and tell us what manner of economic analysis will make an analyst call someone "soulless, blood-sucking vampire"?

How can you claim you are objective when you use such despicable adjectives to describe another human being?

MR MAN, THERE IS NOTHING THE WORLD BANK IS TELLING US TO DO WHICH WE WOULD NOT HAVE DONE ANYWAY!

That 10 billion dollar a year we were BORROWING to pay subsidies, it was not the IMF or World Bank that said 'stop it'. It was BUHARI who saw that it was BANKRUPTING THE NATION, and put a halt to it. Omitting it in the budget he handed to Tinubu.

The TRUTH is that Nigeria was living on BORROWED MONEY FOR FUEL SUBSIDIES.

And as the population grew, you required MORE MONEY FOR SUBSIDIES.

How the hell is that sustainable?

Continuing with the subsidies would have meant we would have become like Zimbabwe or Venezuela, or Sri Lanka , where the economies totally crashed, and went bankrupt, because their debts overwhelmed them and nobody would lend them any more money.

IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?

Because if you think things are hard now, THAT would make it 10 times worse.
You just sound like a government paid propagandist. The reason why you were paying subsidies was it not because your refineries were sabotaged not to work even after putting in billions of dollars?

Is it not rational to address that FAILURE first before removing subsidy or After removing subsidy? But NO. Even Dangote private refinery is starved of crude oil by the government so as not to work. Can't you see the conspiracy there? This is an international conspiracy facilitated by Nigerian government collaborators to make nigeria fuel import dependent Country and thus ENSURE THAT THE OIL WEALTH IS LIQUIDATED BY THE COALITION OF INTERNATIONAL AND LOCAL COLLABORATORS.

Kperogi is an Atiku man who is still pained that Bola Ahmed Tinubu trashed his principal in the last presidential elections.
Kperogi has been attacking Nigerian government just because he hates the president. Kperogi is no different from 0BIDIENTS who have been tearing the country down just because their principal lost the
presidential elections. Why cut nose face to spite your face.
Both Atiku and Obi are still alive healthy and can contest in the next presidential elections. I wonder what country they would be contesting if we destroy Nigeria.

Can somebody tell this lunatic that Nigeria has virtually stopped the importation of fuel owing to the existence of the Dangote refinery?

What kind of mumu is this that is stuck in 2021?

Better follow the news. Ode.

After sinking billions of dollars to maintain refineries and they fail to work, is that not willful sabotage?
STFU. The refineries are coming on stream. The PH one is virtually ready to go, while the Warri refinery is 95% ready.

In the case of Dangote refinery, you claim there's no crude oil to supply it but many of the oil wells in Nigeria today are capped and designated as reserve. I can tell you many locations of dormant oil wells in Nigeria today and nobody is doing anything with the crude oil there.
What is this oaf talking about?

Where did I claim there was no crude oil to supply Dangote?

By the way, that a place is designated as an oil well does not mean ANYTHING.

Before you can do anything with it, the oil prospecting firm or oil major must first ascertain its economic viability as far as relates to access, quantity, cost of production, profit potential, and even the Production Sharing Agreement it reaches with the govt etc.

It’s far more complicated than “Oh that’s an oil well, so let’s go get oil there!”

Just read what you wrote up there again, but this time, do so gently and slowly.

What does his personality, political affiliation or bias got to do with what he said?

Must he be a pro-Tinubu or APC before he could have a say on what affects his country of birth and its people?

Are you immune to the after-effects of all these world bank and IMF induced reforms or you're not just smart enough to comprehend stuffs?

At this stage of your life and the current state of affairs in the country, should anyone still be seen thinking of reasoning like your thoughts suggests up there?

Are you just saying this for clout chasing or this is your real self?

If only you had a semblance of intelligence, you would realise that the main objective of the entire post was not about Nigeria but to attack the person of Tinubu. Tinubu is an individual and you may attack his person all you want but I will not sit idly and watch you or anyone try to rub Nigeria in the mud just because Tinubu defeated your principal in the last presidential elections. Nigeria is greater than Tinubu or any other person so learn to know the difference.

So because Nigeria is greater than Tinubu and all of us, including yourself, we should not criticise bad policies when we see and feel it effects?

Also, do you think we're all partisans like you?

Must you always look at everything from the lens of partisanship?

Grow up sir! The world has moved on past that Peter Obi Vs Tinubu thing. It's stale already.

The talk we're discussing at the moment is about the world bank and IMF induced reforms or policies that is socking lives out of Nigerians. You can't tell me you're not feeling it in any shape or form. If you're not, your extended family members are.

And my point remains that Farooq Kperogi, like every other Nigerian, has every right to criticise the government and its policies irrespective of their political affiliations or bias.

Let that sink!

If Tinubu continues with World bank and IMF policy it will be impossible for him to win 2027 whether by hook or crook. That is if Nigeria survives till end of 2025 cause I personally no longer feel safe among the people even when I'm not a political office holder. People can no longer eat and feed their families

Stop being so bittered that it blocks all forms of logic from your brain. You think you are attacking Tinubu by wanting Nigeria to fail. What sort of warped logic is that? Nigeria is bigger than Tinubu or any other person. So because reforms will take a long time, Nigeria should keep towing the wrong path?

Some of the reforms that Tinubu put in place as governor in Lagos state came into fruition long after Tinubu was no longer the governor of the state

The Chinese reforms started long before this current leader of China. Same can be said for all emerging economies all over the globe. Do you realize that there was a time Nigerians didn't need visas to so many countries?

Whoever told you that US, France UK, and other western countries were built in a day did you wrong.
You are a lost soul. Our economy has become a mess because of his destructive policies. Do you even have an idea of what is happening to our economy and the citizens right now?
Rice is now 95k, petrol is above 1k including NNPC stations. The prices of goods climb up everyday. Naira is almost 2k to 1 dollar and still falling grin grin grin. Policy that will benefit people wouldn't make their lives miserable.
