Pauldollars:
Lagos State Government and Gov. Babajide Sanwo Olu should be appreciated by Labour Party, Peter Obi and Obidients for going over and beyond the Federal minimum wage of 70,000. No be everything people go dey complain about.

They're always good in giving advice as opposition, but when you vote then in, they become confused and can't perform.

Thats true. Because the tax generation in Lagos state alone can feed half if not all the states in Nigeria

If only the massive influx of people/refugees, especially those that escaped from ESN/IPOB, Boko Haram and ISWAP, from your failed states do not flood Lagos, the answer to your question would have been a very big Yes

EmperorCaesar:
cheesy

This guy is even dumber that i initially assumed

Obi sef get sense pass this one

This guy has the same mindset like Otti....He wants Sanwo to follow that shitty footstep of underpaying the hardworking Civil Servants of the state

Now i know why 4 of the 5 states in SE are still paying 18k in 2024...Mediocre standard na wetin dem get for there

Spits
Keep spitting around like pregnant woman
He said the real fact and let's be factual for once.
If Lagos State pays 150k is not too much. Lagos is a country if her own and IGR alone without money coming from the federal will conveniently pay 150k.

Premodial sentiment is a disease!

Chinedu is another sad example of the SE never producing sensible, smart, competent leaders.

Idiots who are hyping and praising Otti who is still paying 18k minimum wage, as the best governor have flooded the thread criticizing Sanwo-Olu for paying 85k.

They approach every issue from an ethnic and tribal lens. You're only good if you're either from their region or affiliated to it and their LP party.

He said: “It’s crucial to note that over 70% of Lagos State’s operating revenue comes from taxes, with PAYE (Pay As You Earn) contributing 45%.

“This means the state’s wealth, which the governor seems to take all the credit for, is primarily generated by citizens’ hard work.

“What tangible benefits do Lagosians receive in return for this significant contribution? Do their children have access to quality public education?

“Is there an efficient and affordable public transportation system? Are the roads well-maintained? Is social housing readily available? Can residents easily access capital for entrepreneurship?”

These are critical questions
leave we lagosians pack your load and go your state na.
