The All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged victorious in all 23 chairmanship and 255 councillorship positions in the local government elections held on Saturday across Kaduna State, News360 Nigeria reports.

Hajara Mohammed, the chairperson of the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (KAD-SIECOM), announced the results, noting that eight political parties participated in the elections.

The APC secured wins in local governments including Birnin-Gwari, Chikun, Igabi, Ikara, Jaba, Jema’a, and others, covering the entire state.

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the elections, stating that the process was largely free and fair with only minor issues reported in a few polling units.

He also praised the voter turnout across the 23 local government areas.

Additionally, the Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC) Kaduna chapter commended the election process as peaceful and transparent, despite some delays in the delivery of voting materials in certain areas.

Elections didn't happen in my pulling unit and many other pulling units in Kaduna south, chikun local government, Kajuru and other local govt so how did APC win?

In Nigeria, on 99% occasions, anyone who wins the LG primary election of the Governors party knows he has won the Chairmanship election already.
Just win the primaries and start celebrating. cheesy

Free and Fair Rigging. The rigging was largely peaceful and the voters were seen waiting in their various house for the security agencies to allow movement of people and vehicle for them to go about their businesses. Others who are interested in the selection were seen waiting to hear the outcome of the results written by governor of the state.

There was no any election in Zaria. We did not see any INEC official and we didn't see any ballot boxes in any pulling unit at all in Zaria as a whole. If APC government can win an election that was not conducted, then its finished, this country is finished already. Let us get ready for Tinubulation till infinity.

Uba Sani knew that his party will lose majority seats if he allowed the election to hold. Some months ago, he asked the state assembly to amend the clause that allowed for electronic voting (under which the opposition won many seats during Elrufai's administration).
Trouble began when the SIECOM refused to release result sheets to the various election centres. Yesterday's night, The opposition had stormed the commission's headquarters protesting but to no avail. Today, they deliberately refused to deliver any election materials to the polling units. Some few ones got later in the late hours of the day. Infact, voting was still ongoing in these few areas when they heard that the election has been concluded and APC had won all the seats. What a sham!
