Her former colleague, Ahmed Sakpe Isah, confirmed the sad incident in a Facebook post on Friday.


“INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHIR RAJI'UN It's with a heavy heart that we announce the death of our pioneer Presenter, Prestige FM, Ni'mat Suleiman (MIMI SAUCE). She was kidnapped and stabbed to d@ath on her way back from
work in Abuja. Allah ya gafartamki Allah ya miki rahma. Oh Allah grant us the patience to be able to bear this loss. May Allah forgive you,” he wrote.

Her friend, Zahra Abubakar, also confirmed the incident.

“It's with heavy heart I announce the death of my life time friend who turned sister Ni'imatullah Suleiman. She was kidnapped and stabbed to d@ath on her way back from work in Abuja yesterday. Allah ya gafartamaki Allah ya miki
rahma. Oh Allah grant us the patience to be able to bear this loss. Subhanallah. Ya Rabb this is indeed heavy,” she wrote.

One Austin Abraham wrote: “I am so sorry Nimat that you had to go in the manner that you did. No amount of sun can dry this tears flowing through. This pool of tears I am in is drowning me. And I can't swim in it. This is the most painful way to go my friendship. The thought of how you begged and cried for your life in the hand of your kidnapers. I could only imagine.. how your innocent blood just littered the ground.

Someone still did a post on the kidnappings in Abuja like a day or 2 ago on Nairaland front page. You all need to read his post analysing how they mostly kidnap woman coming from work around 7pm downwards. This is one of such incidents. So much insecurity in Nigeria now and the useless IGP is there talking bullshit. I don't want to talk about the President, that one, him own case na another level.
My own advice is everyone should take responsibility for their own security by all means necessary.

I know all criminality is detestable. But I especially hate these kinds of soulless, thoughtless criminals who prefer the low hanging fruit of preying on their fellow struggling Nigerians hustling daily to feed. The way people get kidnapped and killed calls for a more thorough security approach. The politicians in power aren't much concerned cos they have security round the clock but what about the average citizens who have to go about without police escorts?
