Rapture day go loud gan.......for me I don't think he should retire since the president is still very much in his position. It's a kingdom ministry which should last forever as long as you are alive.

However, why was papa, mama and Eneche not smiling during his valedictory speech?
Same question I wanted to ask , could it be that there is a build up that lead to the retirement or something might have happened.
Papa was not smiling and that gives me concern.

With this a precedence will be set in Winners, many pastors in winners will build themselves and leave early to form their own ministry or church. It is better to have a little congregation of 100 member as a head pastor than to be an assistant pastor with a congregation of a million. Last last na pikin de inherit papa hustle/properties
I told a winner friend this same thing.
Most winner's pastors will not be faithful again, with this , all of them will try to settle themselves early before a day like this comes.

The mandate approved 60 as retirement age in 2001 and was revised down to 55 this year. Why then were Bishops Abioye and Aremu allowed to still continue when they passed the age of 60 and suddenly told to resign now, according to same "mandate". They are not telling the whole truth.
Hmmmmmmm, this is deep.
Could it be there are something we are not aware of?

For those of you shouting retirement from the work of God, he is not retiring as a pastor. However he is only retiring from active service on the platform of LFC. He will still be doing the work of God through other mediums or platforms.

This thing is in the mandate. Every pastor knows it, their retirement is not strange. LFC is well organized.

The fact that the speech was given with a script makes me doubt the oneness in spirit or honesty of the speech

Abioye don chop too let him retire, Oyedepo na the most greedy Pastor in Nigeria let him too retire but because na business thing he can't. I keep saying this a Church shouldn't be owned by anyone but can be founded by anyone.
Christ is the head of the church and he appoints those he called to establish his church by his leading not all this branch businesses all over the place called church.

Why would I be? A review of my posts will tell you that I don't rate religious people at all but you have come online to disparage the guy, the least you could do is provide something that led to the anger/attitude

Probably Because there was internal discontent within the ministry that could have led to a public outcry.

cool

Yes his tenure has expired!

Holy spirit and Cherubim will have to elect another person to fill the vacuum!

This is according to Living faith book 21:4!

Your prophet had no succession plan

This fighting led to the deaths of his daughter and two grandchildren
Don't you think Muhammad will regret nor having a succession plan that cost him his family?
After all, Islam was his own hustle too

So why is oyedepo who is 70 still in service?
He is the founder and General Overseer...

If you don't want to be retired, be a founder

My question is will his son /sons be forced to retire too ?? Or they have automatic lifetime benefits
They can retire probably if they get too old, but then they will definitely have children that can take over from them. In summary, it's a family business. Other pastors are mere employees!

How will Oyedepo’s son take over if he does not retire.

With people like him still at the helms of affairs, he is definitely going to be taking over from Oyedepo and that they cannot allow to happen.

Everyone would could be due to takeover will be retired.

That’s the game plan, don’t let them deceive you. These people are humans like you. They will protect the family wealth.

Please when was the mandate written? Who were the committee members?

What else are y'all expecting when its certain and confirmed that Oyedepo Jnr will take over the mantle of leadership after Papa Oyedepo
If he says his son will take over the leadership after his death, he will be honored. He didn’t have to retire anyone willing to serve God!
