See the confidence and rapport this team is playing with. See the joy on their faces and our hearts filled with happiness.

See Pablo Torre coming on and getting goals.

Things I noticed in this match and would do us good if we master it:

* The team pressed relentlessly when not with the ball. They demanded for possession, grab it anyway possible to control momentum.

* Pau Cubarsi, Inigo Martinez and Marc Casado understanding and partnership is a joy to watch. They effectively cancelled out any threats towards the defence. Casado is easily the most important piece in that midfield for me. Cos there's hardly anyone to match his profile and give what he brings.

* Raphinha is surely rejuvenated and wholeheartedly deserves the Captain armband. Dude was MTN — Everywhere You Go!! I'm midfield, attack and defence. Leading by example. What a true Captain should be or strive for. Hope Araujo dey learn?

* The biggest observation was this team taking multiple shots outside the box. And many of the shots came from non-traditional players known for taking shots. I love our midfielders taking shots at opposition GK. Pedri now takes shots, Casado is the same... Then we have the regulars like Lamine Yamal, Pablo Torre and Raphinha also adding their quota.

These are the kinds of players you need in European nights. The profiles that can shoot and score in games you can't get much opportunity to get too close to the goalie or defenders.
There's: Olmo, Torre, Pedri, Raphinha, Yamal, Lewa, Casado, Fermin Lopez. And these are all spread out between attackers and midfielders. What I love most is that this list have players who can score goals from close range or long range. There's specialists who excel in either of this.
Not having these profile of players who could always shoot outside the box without the main front 3 contributing has always been one of the major problems of Tiki Taka and our UCL elimination. Glad its actually being rectified.

* We actually launch counterattacks with Raphinha And Yamal being prime movers of that trait. I love it.

* Then there's players who can come in as Boogey players.... What a Rodrygo or Valverde was to Madrid those years before their first XI success.
Our Boogey players seems to be: Pablo Torre, Fermin, Gavi and Fati (I see the potential). And I love it being majorly from the midfield.


This dynamic profile make-up just gives me ultimate joy. All in all an excellent match.

At the end of the season, we hope to win a trophy or two but if you have enjoyed the season, the feeling will be different even though you didn't win a trophy.

I'm sorry if your team made you sad. But I thought Chelsea played a decent game against Liverpool. Didn't deserve to lose in my opinion. I believe this is the best Chelsea I have seen since Tuchel left.
