European football needs the best of Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester United to come back to their best. I think these trio, at their peak, provided the best memories in European football.

I don't know exactly what is wrong with Manchester United but I can see Chelsea and Barcelona coming back to their best slowly but surely.

so we played a match yesterday which was 20, we will play another one on 23, then another on 26 or 27

Slovenian referee Slavko Vinčić will be the referee for Barcelona vs Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

He famously officiated the away match against Inter Milan in the 2022-23 and gave numerous controversial decisions against Barça including denying two obvious penalties with Denzel Dumfries and a clear red card for Hakan Cahlanoglu tackle on Busquets.

Hopefully, we play better football now and his decisions won't make any difference to the outcome of the match.

He needs to be out there playing. That's how you improve the fitness. I wasn't sure why he wasn't subbed and why Hansi Flick will prefer to play Balde in the RW during the dying embers of the match.

I like Inaki Pena proactive goalkeeping especially when he charges out of the box to clear amidst our high line. Maybe the coach is worried that Szcesney is not quite comfortable yet at charging out and taking control.

Nice. Finally saw someone who share my views on Pena. The only positive about him.

I like his proactive reading of the game and quickly seeing passing lanes that can prove dangerous.
We all know his saving ability leaves a lot to be desired.
Although there was one ball I funnily expected him to charge towards the player and he stayed inside the box. I think that was their offside goal. 🤔

I actually prefer Pena's ball distribution to Ter Stegen's. Pena's poor at clearance but he's better to me in passing.
Tee Stegen stupidly passes to the most dangerous situations despite being a veteran. Pena hardly makes those stupid passes. He gives it to the next safest option.
