megastu:You went through my old posts, to look for things to prove a point Grow up man!!!It amazes me that, as a self-acclaimed lawyer that you are, you don't know that people are innocent until proven guilty. You think like an averAGE Nigerian who thinks people are guilty until they can prove themselves innocent. I don't need your advice, since you have conclusive evidence that I took the picture without consent and since you know that they are minors, please charge me to court or better still, call 9-1-1!!! |

Only way to find out is to apply and answer all questions honestly especially about previous visa rejections or entry denial. Use legitimate documents….Then hope for the best. Eghosa100: |

crowniran:You need a diploma/certificate to get points for 2 or more certificates, you can check the 1st page of the thread for some (short-duration) certificates you can do like BCS/CIMA/PGD etc And if possible, you should rewrite and max out your IELTS... Achieving both will push your CRS up then you have better chances of getting ITA with STEM. |

Predator188:There's no question making an active YouTube video while driving is distracted driving. There's not even an argument here. OP has taken down the video, so it's hard to know exactly what was going on. However, if it were a harmless dashcam recording without any interactions or without the OP talking, that's a different story and may not be distracted driving. But if it were an active YouTube video where the OP is constantly talking, that's without question distracted driving, as it can be easily seen in the same light as actively talking to a passenger while driving, which itself is also distracted driving. Let's be guided in this Canada. OP can never ever defend their action successfully in court, if it's the latter. |

Good morning Sir/ ma and trust you are doing great. Please I have MSc, BSc, PGD, HND and ND in Accounting and Finance, likewise my partner in computer science. WES insisted we evaluate just our MSc only. Please advise me, I am just confused. We are 33 and 42 years respectively. Thanks Afolavid: |

Hello house, have done medicals and biometrics and awaiting final decision...my wife's international passport is due to expire in August of 2025, but she received a new 10-year passport that has her bearing my name last week. Can we continue with the passport that has her father's name already on file, or we need to add her new passport to the application? |

Yes, they are right, there is no need for confusion, evaluate your highest qualification only. You do not need to evaluate the rest, it will confer no advantage for you in terms of scores. dentrice: |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Farawayman: 2:08pm On Oct 21, 2024 |
Technically the choice is yours, however receiving a new passport I guess for change of name will mean the old passport has been cancelled, so you need to raise a Webform to update her details. Just proceed to raise a webform attaching the new passport and also telling them what you're doing in the textbox of the webform. Theflint1: |

Farawayman:Will raising this webform cause a significant delay in the PR approval decision? I was made to understand that the previous passport is valid until it expires. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Afolavid: 11:16pm On Oct 21, 2024 |
Theflint1:According to the previous response, the choice is yours. But In my opinion, since the previous passport was not canceled, let them finalize the application with the passport she already has on file, especially since that passport has more than the needed duration (6months+) on it. |

I sincerely need your assistance to clarify this issue: I made my payment to WES on the 27th of September, and LASU sent my transcript on the 4th of October. However, as of the 8th of October, my WES dashboard still showed the status as "Awaiting transcript." I emailed WES to inform them that my school had sent the transcript, and on the 9th of October, I checked again. The status had changed to "On hold." I mailed again relied In their response, WES confirmed that all documents required for my evaluation had been received. I also uploaded my M.Sc. certificate on the 26th of September and re-uploaded it on the 17th of October 2024. Please kindly assist me, as I am confused about the status of my evaluation. Take noted Transcript

Atomiq:Hello, there’s no need to be confused as WES has said they have received all the documents they require to do an evaluation for you. Once the evaluation is complete, you will get an email confirming that your evaluation is complete. WES evaluation can take some time, I’d advise patience. |

Good day house. I’m in need of some clarification. When exactly during the express entry process is the proof of funds required? I used to think they would request for it after ITA, but a friend just told me that it needs to be in my account for 3 months before ITA. I’m confused. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Farawayman: 10:14am On Oct 23, 2024 |
KenIchiban:I have a response that may be debatable to this one, but I am going to talk on my personal experience. I didn't submit bank statement, so there was no way IRCC could have checked when the funds in my account entered(It is a lot of funds, both NGN and USD and each of them was more enough for my POF for my family size). What I did was apply to my bank(one of the international banks operating in Nigeria) and they gave me a one page letter showing my balances as at day of application, they stated the month and year I opened the account and stated that I had run the account satisfactorily since then. They didn't write any 6 months average balance or anything of such. And I got PPR (2 times self, they sent and sent again... Lol). In my opinion the bank's reference letter trumps everything else and should suffice. POF is only submitted after ITA, but since there is a request for 6 months average balance, it may be proper to have had the funds for a while incase ADR is raised for full statement. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by MayorOfEdmonton: 5:02pm On Oct 23, 2024 |
A couple comment for OP & intending applicants, POF is not one size fit all. Some banks(GTB, Access Bank) won’t include your current balance no matter what you say in the branch, hence the need for 6 months statement of account. IRCC requires the bank to state average balance for past 6 months in the reference letter. Your salary also determines the amount of scrutiny the POF documents will get, I’m fairly certain @Farawayman was not earning #100-150k per month(~#1,000,000perAnnum) and then submitted POF of +#20,000,000 and would have gotten PPR with just bank reference letter without an ADR explaining source of lump sum back when he applied. e.g Miss B who works as a Senior Engineer with Chevron/Shell and earns millions of Naira monthly(some allowances are paid in $ self) may not need to explain source of funds but Mr A, a bank teller with UBA for 3 years will need to explain lump sums. Good evening everyone. My CELPIP result is as follows: L =9 R =8 W=10 S=9 Average: 9 Is this a good score to get into the pool? Or should I strictly target PNP Nomination? I calculated my score and the CRS is 414. Please advice.
