From my knowledge of history, former brothers in a country that used to live close to each other and break up into separate countries are never able to live peacefully together. Ukraine/Russia, South Korea/ North Korea, India/Pakistan, Serbia/ Kosovo, South Sudan/ North Sudan, Etiopia/ Eritea, the list is endless. so it is better to take them very far away so that they do not end up fighting endless wars.
