Didnt grow up living like this...For my own house, its a sin not to leave home with big big flask for lunch in a basket ,after eating like a cow bound for slaughter in the morning

I used to envy those that buy these tho..The stew scent is always outta the world

If the seller is a Nwanyi-calabar , they tend to have more customer than the rest

Na mostly families with lazy mother dey give their children money to buy food outside back then.

This is very recent. When I was growing up in the early 80's you wouldn't need up to 2 Naira for all that. I used to get 10 kobo daily from my parents to buy snacks at school.
