Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has stressed the need for judicial officers to have a robust welfare package including housing.

According to him, the assurance of a house after retirement would insulate judges from manipulation, interference and exposure to certain temptations.

Nwike knows this. He's just bluffing. His wife has been made a judge, so he should know. The corruption of the judiciary starts with the appointment of corrupt judges, and not just with how good or bad their living quarters look.

If the sound and upright are truly so AND not selfish, then why are they not enlightening everyone around them and beyond to be as sound and upright?
