The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Abia State has expressed displeasure over the State Government's policy of compelling churches to be paying taxes on their signposts.

CAN in a statement appealed to the Government to immediately rescind the decision to avoid compelling the body of Christ from seeing the administration as anti-churches.

Why are they displeased? Church and mosque na enterprises, if you put sign board outside, na advertisements you dey do, therefore, you go pay tax. cool

What is this useless body called CAN complaining, pay the TAX and stop the nonsense complaints.
After all it is written that you should give what belong to Ceaser his own.

All the killings of Christians in Nigeria, nobody heard your voice. The Muslim-Muslim tickets, non of you protested, even those bigger scammer GOs in Lagos and Ogun states didn't say pim. Now you want to protest because it has touched money which you people value more than your lives.

Churches make money, build businesses, employ and retire people.
They should pay taxes, not only on their sign posts but on their earnings as well.
