I don't think he's the one who has interest in the assets per sé, he's just acting as a proxy for Herbert Wigwe's father who is merely trying to ensure that Herbert Wigwe's other siblings get something from their late brother's estate
The court won't accept this kind of explanation from him. Thank God Herbert Wigwe made a will. His property should be distributed the way he want. Herbert Wigwe father messed up with this move in my own opinion Kobicove

I don't think they're trying to disinherit his children.

When Herbert's will was made it was not anticipated that he would die so young and that his father would outlive him.

The older Wigwe intention aim is to correct that anomaly so as to ensure a more equitable distribution of the assets
Someone made a will clearly stating how he wants his assests to be distributed and the family plans to change the will. Do you think Herbert was that young that he didn't know what he was doing when he made the will?

This your explanation is confusing. What's your point exactly? You mean Herbert Wigwe has the intention of sharing his properties among his siblings before he died or what exactly is your point?

This is one of the reasons Islam is the right religion if followed perfectly!

After a Muslim's death, the way his properties would be shared is already legislated. Those who deserve to get a share has been clearly stated with conditions!

And this is from the Qur'an!
No wonder Abiola's Muslim children are still fighting over their father's wealth in 2024.

Why is Herbert Wigwe father trying to make his other siblings get something from his will even though he had made it clear how his will should be shared?

I don't think Herbert Wigwe's father has evil intentions for taking this action...those who are trying to whip up public sentiments against him should steer clear.
The father couldn't have involved himself in the mess in the first place. His son has kids, innate greed and collaboration from family members made him rubbish himself publicly. The father was supposed to warn off all the hyenas and ensure the grandkids get their inheritance 💯

I've personally experienced this in my family. Be a man of honor else it backfires. There's difference in being a boy, man, uncle, father, grandfather (mentor). E get why

Herbert Wigwe had a lot of influential friends. I'm sure those people won't sit around and watch the family deny Herbert's children of their inheritance.
It's only sensationalism newa reporting that will make the interest of these dependents of the deceased seem like plan to deny the children.

He messed up big-time, man of his caliber at that age. How will the grandkids look at him. He's lucky to back off, the way and manner the Judge would have blast him ehhhhhh . The cousin was very foolish that he didn't withdraw the case when the grandfather backed out

Was Abiola's will shared in line with Shari'ah of Islam?

I have always advised rich clients and any other person who have property not to just write a will. Try as much as possible to set up a "Trust" immediately while alive this will help stop all this greedy family members from taking over what belongs to your children.

You're the real olodo! Abiola married more than what Islam stated! They didn't use Islam to share their properties. Why blame the failure on Islam? This simply shows crass ignorance plus foolishness!

Clearly, you no dey reason very far; sorry to say. So, those your religous organizations; they are being run by individuals abi? Because, you're making it seem like the religius org is an entity that still isn't run by humans... Humans that will make it their OWN property after their own deaths and pass it to their own children... and that is how your legacy will go to the generations of another man.

You clearly didn't think it properly. Unless you wanna make your kids backbones in the religious org.
