The Nigerian constitution clearly states that if you defect from the party that sponsors you, you lose your seat.
As long as there's no division in your party AT NATIONAL LEVEL.

Those letters were sworn affidavits. Find out the legal implcations of swearing an affidavit under oath. Just remembered theres even another angle to this whole debacle. If the Supreme court rules their defection invalid, that means they have committed perjury. Fubara should arrange another set of different lawyers to institute a case of perjury against these guys lets see their response. Both cases should be running simultaneously so that whatever is the outcome of the supreme court judgment, they are toast.

The APC membership register is just a way to defend the undefendable.
As long as it was passed in a reading by the speaker of HOA, it is constitutional that they have defected. No case here.

If you did a court marriage, do not divorce by due process ,declare that you are divorced and then arrange a new marriage. The new marriage is void and of no effect

You don't divorce with mouth
You don't change nationality with mouth
Same with defection
