The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the postponement of its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, initially scheduled for October 24, 2024.

The meeting was aimed at addressing the party’s internal crises as well as appointing a new acting National Chairman.

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State and Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum made the announcement after a stakeholders’ meeting on Tuesday night.

The meeting, attended by Acting National Chairman Iliya Damagum, members of the Party’s Board of Trustees, and the National Working Committee (NWC), resolved to shift the NEC meeting to November 28, 2024.

The postponement, Mohammed said allows the party to focus on the Ondo Gubernatorial election, scheduled for November 16, 2024.

Anyone that is not comfortable with damagun as PDP national chairman should relocate to GAZA immediately

Politics is far beyond lay pedestrian reasoning ....what's happening in PDP is far deeper than you think,what's lies underneath is far different from what you are seeing on the surface.

Atiku is the only one that can control that party and galvanise it into a viable opposition but he is too aloof and too invisible to lead the cause......Wike wouldn't allow that to happen and wants to shut him out completely and all the other party elders have all gotten their hands soiled that they can't muster any integrity to rein these young bloods in,also many are too broke or now politically irrelevant to whip any influence.

Nigerians will not vote PDP again

This present crop of PDP governors lack balls. See the way an acting chairman and a former governor is tossing them around.
Reminds me of how GEJ did not understand the kind of power he had.

Although i prefer charity to pick the ticket, because that man has remained with the party despite what happened in 2015,I still feel Omosede may end up with the ticket.I was at a gathering with party leaders before the election were she was assured of the ticket to replace Denco.I don't want any unnecessary quarrel over this matter,please let's honour agreement and find a way to pacify Charity.Charity is a young man,his time will definitely come.Lets not blame Omosede for APC lose in ovia north east,she did her best for the party and margin of loss showed it.
