BREAKING NEWs: Nigeria Government Drops All Charges Against Binance Executive Gambaryan After Many Trial

The federal government has dropped all charges against Tigran Gambaryan, a Binance Holdings executive who has been detained since April and facing trial for money laundering.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) announced the withdrawal of charges at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday morning.

It should be recalled that the judge, Emeka Nwite, had previously denied Gambaryan bail twice, citing flight risk concerns.

Gambaryan’s health had reportedly deteriorated during detention, with prison officials describing him as “very sick”.

Gambaryan, a United States citizen and former IRS agent, was arrested in February while visiting Nigeria to address regulatory concerns about Binance. He was accused of money laundering and operating an unlicensed financial institution.

The prosecution’s lawyer stated that Gambaryan was merely an employee of Binance, not involved in the company’s broader financial decisions.

Mark Mordi, Gambaryan’s defence lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria agreed with the prosecution’s assessment.

Those guys would even feel relieved about this.

They care more about expansion and getting a stronger foothold here than having a useless beef against one sovereign Nation

The government propaganda agent called emkz should come and explain why all charges have suddenly been dropped after keeping the man locked up for over 8 months. He's one of those that has been defending the illegal arrest and detention of this man by Tinubu's clueless Administration.

Meanwhile, Binance is out of Nigeria and exchange rate is now kissing N1720/$1

They finally dropped all charges so the man would not die in their hands.
They know if anything happens to him it would lead to serious international problems as he was detained illegally and this is not their fellow Nigerian They can just kill and dump.

It is now they realised that he is just an employee of binance. Still using backwards mentality and think the solution to everything is using force.

We still have a long way to go

Normally, I won't waste words on your kind because when I read some of the things some of you say from the abyss of your emptiness, I feel ashamed with myself to have to engage you.

Just to make a correction, after which I'd take note of you and ignore your mentions.

Unlike some of you who are bitter and full of hatred, I do not wish death on anyone. I have never wished such and I never will. I can disagree with people and that's it.

Please avoid me since you clearly lack the maturity for my audience.
