Balde isn't really poor if his head is in the game. I no know wetin Baba dey take before he comes match these days but based on the last match, the sensible and reliable Balde was on show against Sevilla.

What Flick needs to do is to tell him not to overlap too much and the winger on that wing must track back to help in defence. Fati didn't do that at all against Sevilla so Balde had all the work to himself. Reason why you saw Inigo Martinez doing many sweeping works.

Even Balde wey I don dey abuse this season isn't necessarily poor sef. It's just that he hasn't been at his level he was when Xavi just came and early last season. That injury sef made dude somewhat slow.

If Balde really wan play you can rarely get past him cos he's defensively solid. His attacking like you said needs work which I saw some improvements in the last match. Na Ansu Fati head no too correct for the game that's why.

Who else remembers how Balde and Ansu Fati team up was deadly that year. If you put both of them on same wings that season, opposition players dey always suffer am. And they had very good connection between themselves. The best pair back then.

Now na Raphinha, Lewa & Yamal with Cubarsi + Araujo na im dey take over.
At some point it was Olmo+Yamal or Marc Bernal + Casado.
