President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed seven new ministers into his cabinet.

They are Ambassador Bianca Odimegwu Ojukwu, widow of the late Ikemba of Nnewi, Sir Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; and Jumoke Oduwole, ex-Executive Secretary to the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council, as Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment.

Others are Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Maigari
Dingyadi, Minister of Labour & Employment; Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Ministry of Livestock Development; Rt.Hon.Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development; Dr Suwaiba Said Ahmad, Minister of State
Education.

Sunday Dare, former Minister of Sports, has been named Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation.

Although not clearly stated, Dare is suspected to have replaced Ajuri Ngelale, who in September resigned as Presidential spokesman amid controversy.

The president charged the newly appointed cabinet members to see their appointments as a call to serve the nation.

He added that all appointees must understand the administration’s eagerness and determination to set Nigeria on the path to irreversible growth and invest the best of their abilities into the actualisation of the government’s priorities.

Tinubu is just trying to buy everyone he thinks that would compromise his government to carry out his agenda. Let just say, he’s playing the game smartly and he’s good at it.

Forget all those strategies to motivate an average Nigerian to work and give the best, the only motivation for a Nigerian to work is fear. Fear of sanction or sack. Tinubu shud make these reviews a regular thing make these enjoyment ministers get small sense of responsibity.
Meanwhile it takes intense supervision esp of these our governors to make them work. Many of them are just there to receive fat monthly allocations and device smart ways to escape probe and jail after tenure. Rubbish
