In cases like this, your first suspect should be the Nigeria police. |

Chithauri:Mumu talk from people who haven't travelled before. If he your family is in Bayelsa or Imo state, and you're arriving in lagos, you make arrangement for pickup with your family?? They'll have to travel to lagos to wait for you because you're an infant who doesn't know how to manoeuvre in his own country? |

Originalsly:Where did you get this wrong version of information from? No one mentioned in the entire video that they called any authority BEFORE his arrival. How would that have been possible when the family didn't even know his arrival date ![]() |

Kingbuhari:If you knew Lagos so well, why couldn't you book a hotel prior to arrival in today's digital age? BTW, which country do you reside in the abroad? |

Free2Fly:I travel often. So, who picks you from Imo or Bayelsa? Even if they are not picking you, he didn't say, "I'll see you on Sat" to his mom or brother? The truth is parts of Naij aren't particularly safe right now. You have to move different. |

why has any one not mention the camera at the airport to ascertain his movement at the airport, and it could probably show the taxic pick up |

kingthreat:I would think you would need some sort of court order, esp. if he had an account in the UK. |

Kingbuhari:From Ikeja Airport to Festac is a joke, and I find that hard to believe. You asked for a nearby hotel and all the plenty long travel to Festac seemed "near" to you? When there are hundreds of hotels, big and small, in the same Ikeja and adjoining areas around. |

Kingbuhari:I think the lesson is to make arrangements before landing. There is no way I would allow any taxi driver to just take me to a random hotel esp. in Festac. You can easily book a hotel online that's located within a couple miles of the airport. I usually do that when I need to take an early local flight after I land. |

IjeBos:I don't know Lagos much and because of this , I connected with my log forgotten relatives in case of next time at least I will have family around |
| Re: Daniel Ogoh: My Twin Brother Is Missing After Arriving Lagos Airport From UK by IjeBos(m): 1:30am On Oct 24, 2024 |
Kingbuhari:You can easily find a good hotel online. Just do a hotel search based on distance from Lagos airport on your favorite hotel site. I usually do foreign/western hotel chains, but any with great reviews will do. They can send a car to the airport to pick you up. When you get to the hotel ask them to ring you in the AM for your flight and ask for a car to be available in the morning. The closeness to the airport takes away the stress of meeting traffic and missing the local or international flight. Long forgotten relatives? I see. |

IjeBos:lol ... Yeah extended relatives.... Aunts and cousins.. anyway such thing will not happen to me again, the experience was traumatic and stressful |
| Re: Daniel Ogoh: My Twin Brother Is Missing After Arriving Lagos Airport From UK by IjeBos(m): 3:01pm On Oct 24, 2024 |
Kingbuhari:I can imagine how traumatic that was. I mean there are good people out there, but it only takes one bad person. But sometimes bad experiences that end well are blessings, they give us perspective. I hate to say this, but I would also be cautious of those extended (newly found) relatives unless you absolutely can say you trust them. I have a couple of close cousins/family I trust implicitly, the rest I let them know I'm around only when I'm fully settled. It sux that's how we have to move. |
