Benue politician raises eyebrows after heoffered N20k salary for a cook "who can stand pressure and cook well"

A Benue politician, Takema Akom Smith's job posting has raised eyebrows online.

The APC chieftain, who was an aide to former Benue Governor, Ortom before defection, made a post on Facebook, saying he needs a female cook for his guest inn and offered a salary of N20K.

“I need a cook in my guest inn, someone who stays around mkar. Someone who can stand pressure and cook well.
Salary : 20k.
Preferably a lady,”

he wrote on Thursday October 24.

For 20k? 20k is too small even for the remote villages in Benue, not to talk of Makurdi.

And talking of asides, tips is not salary and is not constant, so employees cannot work with that.

These people are truly anti human. 20k thar cannot feed a family of 3 in a day. Politicians can never die well.

You are already like them. Nigerian politicians are just a good representation of the Nigerian society. They are not different from the average Nigerian.
I don't understand why people expect their politicians to be different from themselves.
Your government is a microcosm of your society.

When Nigeria is full of good people, then the politicians will also be good.
