Most of the Nigerians that sold their properties and resigned their job to go to Canada in the last 5 years, can't find any meaningful professional or decent job and are stranded and that's a fact. Forget all the Canada hype ask people living there you are close to who can tell you the truth.

You are twisting the news to deceive the uninformed.

-Canada to bring in 395,000 new permanent residents in 2025, down from 485,000 in 2024.

-Temporary residents to decrease by about 30,000 to around 300,000 in 2025

Get the real story here

Same thing OP posted. Reduce temporary workers.

Canada brought too many people in way too fast. It'll probably take a decade for the mistake to self correct before they'll be able to handle migration at scale again.

1.5 million growth in population from migration in just four years alone.
Mostly Indians who don’t tip or give back to the hosts’ societies.

..and the population over there is getting much and increasing because of many foreigners migrating g into the country for greener pastures

That is why the government and nigerians should fix their own country and make it better and good and all this japa to Canada for greener pastures will reduce and stop and the embarrassement and insults nigerians receive over there will stop
Re: Canada To Cut Foreign Workers, Risking Jobs For Nigerians And Others by ufotunang: 5:45pm On Oct 24, 2024
Canada allowed to many foreigners to come to their country and get jobs and be a citizen with permanent residency through their immigration programs which many people took advantage of the immigration programs and many foreigners and Africans migrated to Canada and overpopulated the country..so Canada is now trying to reduce the population in Canada

DAILY POST
It is expected, the only economy in the West that have grown in the last 20 years has been that of US at the behest of other Western countries.
They have all been fluctuating around same trajectory. Harris recently mentioned that, against the backdrop of support other nations or association, what comes first for US is their foreign agenda to dominate others, including EU.

They have kept especially Germany at armlength, dictating their economy, even stationed their military base in Germany. Canada relies on US for most of their supplies and needs.

The only thing that would make some of you in this forum happy is if Nigerians abroad are packing oyibo shit. You guys wish Nigerians abroad to do odd jobs to justify yourselves unfortunately that is not the case.

Majority of Nigerians who came as PR or transitioned into PR become professionals in their career. Some continued their careers from where they stopped in Nigeria, some started in the factory and upgraded before transitioning into a professional career over time.
Success is not measured overnight, it is a long term game. Nigerians migrating are smart to capitalize on the working system to position themselves for long term success.

You can believe that majority of Nigerians are homeless or packing oyibo shit abroad, it is your right to believe whatever you want if that makes you sleep well at night.

Reverse yahoo.

Entice Africans to sell off their properties with the promise of migrating to the promised land.

On getting there and exhausting their resources, find an excuse to deport them back to their shithole countries.

Oyibo format is subtle and right on the money.

This is terrible reporting.

Fact: You cannot hire foreign workers unless you can’t find anyone in Canada to do the job. Companies have been using some loopholes to circumvent this.
New Policy aims to make it harder to circumvent amongst other things.

Daily post needs to read and understand the policy before publishing anything.

This has nothing to do with those currently working or have their work permit.
Exactly. They're shutting down the Indian worker scam.

You have energy to be arguing with people who have made up their minds to only carry wrong and bad news.

I am not in Canada right, but I know a lot doing well there. And that news is not as bad as most people are interpreting it. They are just reducing it, and trust me it’s because of elections.

Someone even said Canada is overpopulated 😂😂😂

Also, the news of company justifying that there are no Canadians who can fit in into a role before giving outsider has always been there. In fact it’s like that in most countries of the world.

It wouldn't affect those with permanent residency and those that are now citizens. So most Nigerians should be fine.

Canada is the second largest country in the world, they will always need workers and immigrants.

Check if you are qualified for this opportunity.

You have a lot of time and energy to argue with people who have either suffered numerous visa rejections, deported or have not ever left the shores of Nigeria. Most of them are APC zombies who are bitter at people who have better options than them. If they were truly exposed, they would know that the remittances from the Nigerians in Diaspora is the second largest money maker after oil exports.

You are the one that actually need to wake up. The fact that most Nigerian employers reward hard work with mediocrity doesn’t mean it happens everywhere.
Plus you don’t need to have grey hair to be a director here like most of you have been conditioned to think.

If you doubt, go on LinkedIn like he said - proofs are there.
