I followed this guide that I found here and it was quite straightforward, you can use it as well. All thanks 🙏to the person that dropped it here.

- Go to Google, search ATIP
- Pick the first option from the list of results
- when the page opens, click on next
- click/mark the privacy box and click continue
- on the next page, select Canada Border Services Agency from the drop-down
- from the next drop-down, select foreign national outside of Canada
- fill out your required information in the boxes below
(Use your Nigerian address and phone number pls)
- Pick yes to the question about requesting information on your behalf if so
- pick member of the public for the category that best describes you
- Pick electronic copy for how you prefer to receive your notes/records
- click continue
- on the next page, pick privacy act on the 1st drop-down
- select English in the next drop-down
- select case files for the type of records
- fill out all necessary information below(for UCI number, use the format XX-XXXX-XXXX)
- in the comment box write a short intro and your request. Eg:
Hello/Hi
My name is SURNAME, First Second. I have applied for a visit visa, my UCI is ...... and my application number is ......, DOB. I would like to have the notes for my file
- then click continue
- also click continue on the next page(you don't fill anything here)
- you are taken to the final page where you review or edit your info
- check the I certify box and click continue
- you should receive a confirmation email from CBSA

You qualify for Canada plus + visa cause in the last 10years you have a Canada visitor visa people with valid us visa and expired Canadian visitor visa qualify for can+ ... If you have any previous us visa rejection or Canada please state in the application before submission

Please i want to apply for a Canadian VV visa. I was denied a US visitor's visa in 2015 but i have a valid US visitor's visa now. please does my previous denial have any effect on my can plus application?

Please forgive me if I am asking a question that has been answered before but I would really appreciate some info.

My mum's visa just got approved but we are not sure how to submit her passport (she wants to do it in person). I saw somewhere that she had to book an appointment on VFS website but there's no available date as far as middle of next year.

Please guide us! We're not sure what to do 🙏

Please what do i do. i was going through my application now and i found out i clicked NO to the question if i have been denied any visa in the past before.

Infact i have been denied canada visa before although that was just before lock down.

What can i do about this. Meanwhile i have a valid US Visa and i guess my application was processed as CAN+ as i was not asked to upload any proof of fund or any other documentation except the Visa and my NIN.

My application is already 2 months and still counting. within these 2 months, my US Visa which i uploaded has expired and i have renewed same.

Should i send a webform with the renewed visa? what do i do about the other mistake about being denied visa

If you are already in Canada as Temporary Resident (Student or Worker) or will soon be joining a spouse as student or worker, then good news.

The cut down of PR will favour those already in Canada as Temporary Resident.

Canada Experience Class and Provincial Nominations for residents (in-country) will be prioritized for PR than out-country migrant.

She can go to VFS office in Lekki and tell them she wants to submit her passport, they’ll let her do it. There are no appointments for submission, it’s walk in.

I don't even really understand what's going on in Canada. My friend who left Germany for Canada has ran back to Germany. The guy got PR. He was there for 3 months and told me the place is as cold as Antarctica.

It's still not going to be an easy path for Temporary Residents. Reason they introduced measures like English Test and many province are shutting down Intl school completion route or modifying it to Only Masters or with 2 year Diploma courses in long term shortage labour.

As it is Canada is not for the faint hearted. Being a student or worker is not automatic to PR.

Given the current numbers and situation, obtaining PR will be a matter of survival of the fittest, as competition is intense. Many students currently in Canada may not secure PR after investing so much money and accumulating debt. I would advise any student to start learning French as an additional skill to gain an advantage, as the path to PR has become very narrow
