I bought egg N250 today sir. I have friends who are poultry farmers and the gradual rise in the cost of feeds have nearly ruined the livestock industry. We need to address this as a matter of urgency. Don't politicize this ministry. Be deliberate. Don't put 'your boys' there. We need results. We need square pegs in square holes. (Then again, I've never seen a square hole 😀) |

Do you know I have been looking for proof to show that lamba king was ever chairman of Fidelity bank as his supporters always claim and so far I have not found any. The only reference to an Obi is Mustafa Chike-Obi and not the lamba king. So far nobody has also been able to state how Obi made the money they claim he has that made him a billionaire. The only reference is a supermarket, but there are many ordinary folks who own supermarkets. The one he claim to have owned in the UK has been shut down for whatever reason. UltraSolid: |

Pbatmedia:It's not by grammar, simply fix the herdsmen problem first, there no way open grazing of cows will not continue to cause problems in the country, human population has increased rapidly while the availability of unused lands has drastically reduced,so the idea of whatever method use to work in the past is nonsense, new effective methods must be accepted n employed to move forward successfully n peacefully. |

9jatriot:They are worthless i.e Obidients. They run around supporting and praising the most empty, most overhyped, most incompetent, most clueless and most dullardly political of the four main ones who contested the 2023 Presidential election yet will be insulting Tinubu daily. Same way Ojukwu, the cowardly and directionless egotists who sacrificed millions of their forebears callously, is hailed a great hero by them while they continue to demonize and insult arguably the greatest leader in Nigeria's history I.e Obafemi Awolowo. You can tell they come from a culture of lunacy and lack of respect for anything and anyone because normal people defer to the truth even if they hate something or someone. For example, a normal person won't claim Toyota are "unreliable crap" because he owns an Audi since he has to respect the truth of how Toyota come first in vehicle reliability ratings every single year while his own Audi may be at number 30. If Tinubu, the greatest politician Nigeria has known since 1999, and perhaps of all time, is "unintelligent" and "SO STUPID" what is the underwhelming, cowardly and failed Obi who has never built anything note, has no legacy project and fled PDP rather than face Atiku? They are just a cantankerous, very hateful, disrespectful, rude and highly offensive people. Totally crude with no class or finesse whatsoever. |

Make una go de idle away in the cities and be crying food is expensive. Folks in the villages still eat meat at will. Many of them have free range animals that they do not have to buy feeds for to feed. They have chickens, goats, turkey, ducks, etc. The chicken lay eggs so all those 250 naira per egg non concern them. They have gardens around the house for certain crops and farms to produce heavier foods. For fuel, their farms are inside bush and they often use bycicles or bikes to access them so the impact of fuel is lower on them. bobbiiee: |

Dear Mr. President, The livestock agricultural sector is facing huge challenges and government intervention is needed urgently to revive the sector. For instance, poultry farmers are heavily bogged down by the rising cost of inputs - transportation cost, energy cost, feed and fertilizers. A crate of egg is now N6000. Even the average citizen will find it difficult to chop egg now at this rate. We all know protein is a vital nutrient for child development. The Federal government have to subsidize these listed costs above for players in the food value chain. If not, the rising costs in everyday food items will keep soaring. If the so called big farms like Obasanjo farms, SCL farms, Fashola farms are moribund or running skeletal operations in the current economic conditions, how much more the subsistence farmers that have no capital base to rely on for funding. I believe the APC led government will rise up to these urgent situation and arrest this negative trend as soon as possible. God bless Nigeria. God bless H.E. Tinubu. God bless its citizens |

As you send thunder to Tinubu, it keeps going back to the sender causing chaos. If there is no prayer left in your mouth and mind, hire and pay somebody to pray for Tinubu and his family on daily basis. May God bless our president of Nigeria and bring common sense into ekpa to realize while he should stop scamming brainless i-pobs like you by asking for world bank and IMF loan to sell-off entire Biafra land while you are wailing on Tinubu |

MadPolitician:The livestock ministry isn't proper hence we still have ministry of Agriculture. But, Niger Delta ministry is laughable..when we have NDDC. That ministry being scraped is a good thing in terms of cutting cost. As for FG refusing to invest in Livestock, the joke is on them. Federal government can come into animal feed production or Own Hatchery farms. |
