I suspect you were born yesterday or you are one of these gen Zs still sucking their mummy's breast otherwise you won't open your mouth and spot these jargons you just quoted.
Don't ever in your life compare Obasanjo's government to this ongoing nonsense by APC that started with a clueless Buhari and now being finished by a known drug lord.
Obasanjo revolutionised GSM and telecommunications industry you are seeing today in Nigeria, Obasanjo left government with Nigeria having zero debt due to his foreign policy out debts were forgiven, Obasanjo assembled the best brains from Nigeria with known technocrats not the political patronage that is being done by your emilokan clueless fellow in aso rock, Obasanjo all through his 8 years maintained inflation at single digits while your useless government today has close to 40% inflation, Exchange rate all through Obasanjo's government did not exceed 180naira to a dollar but today it's about 1700.
All these witness live and it's not that I was told or read it somewhere as i can go on and on, but yet an ingrate like you whose brain has been taken over by APC zombiesm dare to speak ill of Obasanjo and praise Tinubus useless policies with nothing to show, you must be a dimbat that was born yesterday indeed.
Well said.

Another intelligent man with a good grasp of the reality facing of Nigeria Tinubu met on ground. Your kind are a rare breed on this forum. Lol. Image a country subsidising her own currency to give it false value, only forex trader like illiterate Mompha etal are cashing out from, rather than doing the right thing of creating real and retained value in the Naira by simply working to raise Nigeria's true economic value and productivity which is exactly Tinubu's plan.

If not that most Nigerians are just simpletons who live to eat, drink, fck, breed and Party, how do they think economically great nations, like the UK and USA, retain the high value in their currencies year in and out for decades and counting?

All Nigerians know to do is moan at the exchange rate of pounds and dollars to Naira without understanding it should be this way, as a reflection of our very poor economy, till we work, as Tinubu is trying to do, to gain a diversified economy with a trade surplus through producing more goods and services to the world than we import.

Who are we fooling but ourselves subsidising the Naira when a reasonable adult will understand we must swallow the bitter pill of naira devaluation to then focus on economic greatness that will raise and retain the value of Naira meritocratically.

It is like being jobless to then be borrowing and owing heavily to buy a Ferrari just to look good whereas others who have Ferraris and Lambos have productive and profitable businesses that allows them to comfortably afford whatever luxury they want.

419 is not the exclusive reserve of Hushpuppi Etal. Our leaders, and all past Presidents, engage in it too but Tinubu is refusing to continue the trend. He is sticking to his guns resolutely because he fully understand that things cannot be donee differently, and without pain, if Nigeria is to be great.

The only people who enjoyed how Nigeria was are politicians and the elites connected to them. To be left to chop in peace, those people gave Nigerians the barest minimum leaving many Nigerians living no better than pet dogs in the UK and USA even though they don't realize it. This is the awful reality BAT is try to change. They subsized electricity but you never see it. Pay more under Tinubu and considerably increased power supply which increases personal and business productivity, virtually all truthful Nigerians can testify to, is our reality today. It is a no-brainer, for critical thinkers, that Tinubu may be the best President Nigeria has ever had if given time and support to work.
Very fake and senseless writeup.

Tinubu had one plan. Like the northern military dictators who were forcefully taking over government then. The only plan of Tinubu was build a broadway from the oil producing coastal areas of the south to join the southwest region. But he failed to put into account the fact that roads built must be maintained, else they become useless shortly after.

Northern military dictators paid multi million Dollars of oil money to Japanese construction company, Chiyoda, to build a refinery in Northern Nigeria's Kaduna, after spending more millions of Dollars to build pipelines from the coastal oil producing areas to convey crude oil to Kaduna. The Kaduna refinery and the pipelines are now wasted exercises.

He spent 8 solid years and still want third term.

Jagaban has not even spent up to one and a half yeas (it will be One and a half year by 29 of November, 2024).

I challenge una

Go and touch General Olusegun Obasanjo

Most of you children born in the 90s will come and be talking trash

Someone badass Abacha couldn't finish
Na him una think he's your mate

Even the current president ran away from Abacha fleeing for his life

You guys don't have respect at all

So Obasanjo is now an Igbo Man?

By the way igbos had there beef with Obj as president

But still doesn't warrant
disrespecting Him

Now because you are being told the truth
You begin pull out your bigotry card

Shame on you
Cut the childish crap. What OBJ is doing today is offensive, divisive and unhelpful because he is a highly egoistic megalomaniac who thinks it is his God-given right to deliberately try and damage the image of all governments after his own so Nigerians continue to see him as the best President ever.

While I cannot support insulting him, I think he should respect himself and stop offending the sensibilities of intelligent Nigerians. Imagine saying regionalism will worsen Nigeria's problems when very smart folks know that motivation for that talk is the fact Awolowo, he hated vehemently, succeeded so much as regional Premier of the SW to the extent he remains a cherished icons in the soul of all Yorubas to include those of us not even born when he did his thing. We know what he did for us.

Personally, my parents benefitted from Awolowo's free education to the extent our family defeated what would have been generational poverty to now be about a current generation of professional/business success and pride. What has OBJ done for Yorubas other than try to undermine and deliberately disenfranchise us to the extent I am tempted to believe those who claimed he is actually Igbo?

OBJ wants the same accolade from Yorubas as Awolowo and Abiola continue to get after death and he will never get it. He therefore, as a vindictive person, remains always opposed to what is best for Yorubas, and even Nigeria, to be pretending to be some 'one Nigeria' unity champion.

OBJ is just a spiteful menace these days and those of us who understand him well know that his comments are not delivered out of love for Nigeria. This is someone who destroyed the SW, while President, and took the region back decades by installing ruthless gangsters and killers in charge everywhere till Tinubu fought hard, through ACN, to liberate the region with intellectual, progressive and proven leaders like Fashola, Ajimobi, Fayemi Etal.

The SW was named wild west under OBJ because of the political assassination and gangsterism foisted on the region during his time. He was a President who did not care to visit terror and lawlessness on his own supposed region of origin just to wield absolute power and control everywhere.

You cannot know the bad side of OBJ more than Yorubas so I suggest you learn to be circumspect before ascribing greatness to him.

Obasanjo as president understood that Nigeria's skewed political structure under quasi unitary government is a fraud. He set up a National Political Reforms Conference to restructure Nigeria politically. But Northern reps at the conference colluded with the SW Nurudeen faction in the Conference to end the Conference abruptly due to a minimal increase in derivation percentage asked by the southsouth and southeast representatives in the conference.

Tinubu canvassed for political restructuring of Nigeria for more than 15 years beginning 1996. Tinubu became president and any talk about political restructuring of Nigeria sounds like Greek to Tinubu.

You're not seeing what is obvious. Tinubu has to steady the badly adrift ship first to then forge ahead. Yet smart folks can see he is still restructuring albeit not in the loud ways your kind want to see.

Tinubu fought to ensure Akpabio was Senate President. Why do you think approval is coming quickly for regional development Councils? Tinubu signed into law the establishment of the South East development commission. Did Jonathan, the darling of Igbos, give them that? What of Buhari?

Yet Tinubu has done it without delay as his way off saying oya get your best together and use the commission to develop your people and regions as optimally possible. Yet Igbos, because they are hateful and toxic, wil continue fighting and insulting BAT instead of now turning to the heads of their regional Commissions and demanding they make the changes Igbos want.

What do you think local government autonomy, Tinubu has now delivered through the Court, and approval of regional Commissions are if not some of the most purist facets of restructuring ? Has any previous government given the SE their own regional commission as Tinubu now has?

We should learn to see the big picture lest those who profit from Nigeria's squalid state use us to achieve their regime change agenda by pretending they are fighting for us while trying hard to convince us Tinubu is bad for us and must leave just to return us to our previous squalid status's quo.

You Tinubu Yoruba group, you are the most toxic and unthinking. Why did Tinubu say it's his turn to preside over Nigeria knowing full well that Obasanjo utilised the turn of the Yoruba?
What you see as restructuring by Tinubu does not in any way address the long proposed political restructuring of Nigeria. A former deputy governor of a SW state just said that Tinubu will be the greatest victim of the extant skewed political structure of Nigeria if he fails to have Nigeria restructured before 2017. Watch out.

Harsh but true. Many young Yorubas, 18 to 28, cannot think critically or pragmatically. Nothing confirms this than how many supported the empty and incompetent Obi passionately to then regret it today.

Meanwhile, a thorough look at Obi's leadership CV would show even a bright 10 year old the agula fraud is a total and confirmed failure that cannot even lead a local government in Lagos.
