FG Approves Kogi’s Bid To Establish International Airport In Zariagi by Aljazirah(op): 7:28pm On Oct 25, 2024
Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development has approved the bid by the Kogi State government to construct an International Airport in Zariagi.

The state Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo said the approval was conveyed in a letter by the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, dated October 9, 2024.

He said the administration of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo was committed to the timely completion of the project with strict adherence to regulatory standards, saying an airport in Kogi State would serve 10 other states and reduce traffic on the Lokoja-Abuja road.

It will also decongest the traffic on the International Airport in Abuja.

Waste of funds. Why not use that money to build railway that will run inter state and favour those in the villages, and even connect to Abuja. Nigerian leaders I no just understand most of you.

From Bello to Ododo, the Ebira political gladiators have continued to use the resources of the state to massively develop their land.

Bello built high institutions and high standard hospitals and other developmental projects around Ebira land while Igalas have been left in the cold. Will Ododo hand over to an Okun Yoruba after doing 8 years or another Ebira politician to continue the misery of the Igala?

even mosquito will not land or take off from that airport. Who visits that area?
In a time people cant afford car or trains, one clown looking for ways to chop and massage ego of his tribal people is concieving a useless airport idea 99% of his wont ever afford.
How many major towns comncect to that location? How many people are willing to fly in with N150k into a bush when urban Abuja is there and not so far away?
